Student Portfolio Requirements for 2014-2015

1. If you did not complete your 6


th
grade portfolio in last year, complete your 6th grade portfolio as much as you
can by Oct. 22, 2014
a. Just upload one major assignment for each subject class and summarize what you had learned.
b. If you cannot upload any work, then just describe what you had learned.
c. If you have forgotten what you had learned, you may ask your classmates. Just try your best.
2. For 7th grade Computer Application/Technology class (Comp71, Comp72, Com73, Comp74, Tech70)
a. Summarize what you have learned in every class and from every assignment you have completed.
b. Upload your assignment to the portfolio web site if appropriate or required by teacher.
3. For each other subject class (Math, ELA, Science, etc.),
a. For each marking period
i. Summarize what you have learned in each marking period
ii. Upload at least one major assignment and explain what you have learned from the
assignment.
iii. If the assignment is written on papers, a piece of artwork, or a 3D model, take a picture of it
and upload the image to the portfolio website. You can also use a scanner for papers. Ask
classmates or Miss Chu if you need help.
4. Optional. This is your portfolio. You can add more information related to your learning experience as much as
you want, either in school or outside school. You will get extra credits for additional work.
5. The navigation bar of your portfolio website,
a. must be similar to the example website MissChuStudentPortfolio.weebly.com
b. must have a Blog page, a page for High School, College, and Career Development
6. Privacy: Make sure your full name and school name is not found on your portfolio website
7. Grading:
a. 1
