Summary
The progressive Era its period of time where the people began to demand to
change the way they live due to the unhealthy condition that they lives in
through their work or their live in original. In addition that the growth of the
cities increased rapidly due to the migration most of the people to it and thats
lead to; people begin to let their children work in their early ages in order to
help their families to survive. Regardless the fact that this increased the
uneducational rate among children.the wealthy people were having
fashionable live while the poor people had a large slum live .so, from here
people begin to realize what they are living in especially when the muckrakers
begin to write about the unhealthy life that most of the people were living it so,
most of the people begin to support the progressive idea and demand for
changing.

many immigrated people begin looking for jobs in cities in order to be able
to survive. they begin to work on factories, industries etc.. in a very
unhealthy conditions. the work wasnt a comfortable place like at least
now. they were using the sunlight in order to see and Others were forced to
work under relatively-ineffective gas lights. The picture shows clearly the
theme of the corporation and labor of workers and how they were working
in a such dirty , missy ,cramped and dark place and this picture shows
what kind of places the poor people were working in at this time.

These picture shows the meaning of poverty and how the poor
people were suffering. I got this impression from the house and the way it
looks, from the children, from the childrens clothes. The children in
picture looks like they are suffering from the harshness of life.there are
three childrens in the picture biting their hands and thats a sign of hunger.
I don;t think that this family could afford good money to feed their
children well.This picture described it self by showing the harshness that
the poor people was living in and how the childrens was suffering from this
as well.

Every person in the picture looks tired from the harshness of life
even the children , you can tell from their faces how much this family suffered
no one even smiling or giving a fake smile.Thats another picture shows how
the poor families were living and how their houses looks like. Thier house is so
simple , they are four people and they had like one blanket for all of them, they
sleeping on the floor, one chair and one table thats pretty much all the
furniture they had.This is another self explanatory picture about how the poor
people living and how their life was a harsh place.

the picture describing the crowdedness of the cities because a lot of
people migrated to it in order to find a job and a place to live in it. In the picture
there is a lot of buildings, factories, shops ,etc. and thats shows how the cities
were a very lively places at this time . Most of the people were thinking in only one
thing was how to raise themselves from this poor life to a better live? so, they going
to cities for only one purpose to find a job in order to be able to survive better. Also,
everyone was working there including women, men, the older people, even
childrens.So, the city was the place that everyone know that they will be able to work
in it because it was full of buildings,shops, and they were always need people to
work there.

Womens right

theme : womens right
this pictures showes the changing role of women in society.In addition the
picture describes how the womens begin to have a say . they begin to work
in factories, industries etc . Some people threatened women suffragists
and said they were unfeminine and immoral. Many of its supporters were
abolitionists, as well.however, this picture shows the powerful of women by
making the lady who in the picture standing in front of all the men and in
her hand there is a flower. To be in front thats always a symbol of being a
powerful person and the flower is a symbol of honoring. so, thats show
that the women begin to gain power and honor at the same time and they
succeed to change the role of women in society.
