&There %as a lot o! good in!ormation on this %ebsite. It had lin)s telling you ho% you can
get involved, in!ormation about the disease itsel!, and it even had in!ormation about
coping as %ell as helping )ids cope. I !eel that this %ebsite %ould bene!it a lot o! people.
The !irst thing that comes to mind is maybe somebody %ho has recently been diagnosed
or has a loved one that has been diagnosed. This gives a lot o! use!ul yet basic
)no%ledge.

& Similar to the Kids ealth %ebsite on $o%n syndrome, the one on Tay&Sachs disease
%ould be help!ul !or parents e-plaining the disease to younger children. I also thin) it
%ould be use!ul !or older )ids as it puts things in a %ay that is easy !or them to
understand. It even has a button to clic) on to listen about the disease.

& This site is literally !ull o! in!ormation. There are so many lin)s and options to clic). It
covers just about anything you %ould be curious about. I %ouldn1t say this site %ould be
especially use!ul !or younger children. Another thing I enjoy about this %ebsite is that is
has a discussion board. This %ould be %onder!ul !or people %ith cancer or those that
have a loved one going through cancer. "ot everybody is com!ortable opening up and
tal)ing about everything %ith !riends and !amily but behind the computer screen it might
be a little easier !or some.

& The S.C.$.A.A. site %as not as help!ul as some o! the other sites that I came across. I
!ound it a little cluttered and although there is a menu on the le!t, the main part o! the
page seems disorgani6ed and messy. This might be a good %ebsite !or somebody %ho is
loo)ing into a !undraiser or donations !or Sic)le Cell $isease.

& I !ound that this %ebsite %as easy to guide through. The lin)s %ere very help!ul. Some
sites can have so many lin)s that it begins to !eel over%helming and cro%ded. I don1t

believe that %as a problem !or this site. I also enjoyed the slidesho% that is on the
homepage. It1s nice to see real people as opposed to models(actors doing ads or
commercials.

& =ne thing I really enjoyed about this %ebsite %as the slidesho% on the homepage !ull o!
basic !acts that everyone may not )no%. It also I %ouldn1t suggest this %ebsite to
children. It is more convenient !or adults or older children. It might be help!ul !or adults
trying to e-plain spinal muscular atrophy to children though.

& This %as another %ebsite that I personally !ound a little chaotic and unorgani6ed. There
%as a very clear area !or donations, but the rest o! the areas %ere a little clustered. ?hen
it comes to a disease li)e this that I don1t much about, it %ould have been convenient to
have some pieces o! in!ormation !ront and center. This %ould be a good %ebsite !or
people %ho already have the general in!ormation on ?ilson disease.

& This %as a very )id !riendly %ebsite. It %ould be a good site !or a parent and child to
loo) over together. It e-plains things in a %ay that I believe a child %ould be able to
understand. Aven the graphics and colors are appropriate !or children.
