The teaching of English is to develop four (4) basic skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The
conceptual content offered to the educational aspects of basic use that shall be provided with a better
development of the subject according to the problems of the environment. For General basic education have been
taken 9 generic topics related to elements of the same environment of the student and the school. Topical generic
as family, ecology and community are presented in various forms or sub topics in each degree, depending on the
difficulty of vocabulary and the richness of the experiences of the (the) pupils of this age. The sub-items relate
directly with suggested activities for learning and evaluation, as in all other programs of General basic education.
Also learning conceptual, procedural and attitudinal underlie the specific objectives, contents and activities.

Resumen de la unidad

English for kinder grade basic General Education Unit have been developed so that respond to all guidelines posed
the Curricular Transformation. In this area of transport and communication focuses to the student identify the
different means of transport according to their classification. The opportunity to build their own knowledge and re-
enter through a more active, participatory and constructivist methodological approach that will allow them to
interact and develop skills with regard to the four basic areas of the English subject: speaking, listening, reading
and writing.
