A Peek at Our Week

Reading/Language Arts: This week we will be in
unit 1.3 in our Wonders reading series. Our
phonics skill for this week is l-blends (glad, flip,
plan). We will also review short a and short i. In
writing we are focusing on writing statements
using correct punctuation marks.

Math: This week we are beginning subtraction
with numbers 0-10. We are also continuing to
work on correct number formation and solving
basic addition problems.

Social Studies: This week we will compare and
contrast past and present forms of
communication, transportation, and
recreation.
