Flashback With Dan & Dale

Dale stood behind the cover of the checkpoint theyd set up to
defend the tunnel intersection. His rifle blazed as Murphy
finished reloading and opened up his own barrage at the oncoming
threat. Dozens of creatures fell, but hundreds filled the
tunnels.
Dan! Dale screamed over the headset. We need another
guy! Two people cant hold this checkpoint!
Two levels above them, Dan was struggling to hold his own
front. But they had done worse and Dan was confident that, if
both teams could hold their ground, they would come out on top.
Dan yelled into his headset to be heard over the gunfire. WHERE
ONE CAN BE OVERWHELMED, TWO MAY DEFEND THEMSELVES!
YEEEAAHHAA!!!
Dan was actually enjoying himself for a change
