What Has the Spring Festival Meant to Me?

For me, Spring Festival is one week where we can enjoy doing what we love the most.
One week where our talents come to surface. One week where all of us can prove we
are good in something else not just in Mathematics or Science. One week of art where
we are allowed to shine
Since I was a little girl, I had always dreamed of studying in El Sagrado Corazn de
Jess. The dream became true when my parents decided to change me from school
because of problems with the former one. The first year, I participated in the Literary
Festival making a poem to my little sister, and I won first place. I also participated in the
Star Night by dancing to the song Vereda Tropical, making this first experience quite
unique. The emotion of participating in every activity is one of the things I like the most.
The effort every girl puts on her dance, song, and piece of art is amazing and
something to be very proud of. This is how I feel when I think of all the Spring Festivals I
have participated.
The Spring Festival has been more than just a simple school activity. Its a time for me
to show what Im good at and to feel like the most beautiful and brightest star, but most
of all, its a time to feel proud of myself because it means giving all of me twice. I look
forward to making this last Spring Festival amazing, by participating in all the activities,
by enjoying every single detail of them with my friends and family, and by thanking God
the opportunity of letting me study in a school where they care about the students, and
by letting me finish one of the best stages in my life.
