Abstract

In this project I wanted to describe the daily life of a photojournalist. To do this I

have enjoyed my experience at the Training at Work in the newspaper
Informacin.
I have divided the project into two parts, the first daily activity is narrated in the
work of photojournalist. And in the second part I make reflections on the different
types of news photographs that I have done.
The daily press, is forced to include numerous images to compete with the visuals,
which are faster and more informative strength from them. Therefore, sometimes
"unnecessary" sections are included such as "Image of the Day.
Photographers working for the media in question. In a diary stable team of
photographers is very important.
There are many forms of contracting. So it is normal that in the middle there is a
fixed and permanent small staff plus partners (the latter with different contracts
depending on the tasks).
The freelancer is a person who is not employed by any particular medium but
works freely according to their methods and ideologies. Their work is admirable
and the big problem is job insecurity involved. So the only way to achieve that
remains is paying very well freelances his works, which tend to be of amazing
quality.
Most human activities generate and consume information. And in some it becomes
an imperative (in the media, ...), where lack of it, at any given time, you can have
serious consequences. Access to relevant information,-it is textual, graphical or
numerical-is crucial to keep leader or the head of competitive market and
therefore becomes a commodity that can be bought and sold, an instrument of
power-for some fourth-power in a strategically important element in all
production, political and economic sectors.
And in this context photography plays a major role. There is almost no human
activity that do not use-from science to industry, art free-time, and also in the
world of information and communication-journalism. Photographs may be
considered as constituting a culture documents
Therefore, press photography is very important in journalism as it changes the
view of the masses, lets see what happens in the world. With it's possible that the
media published images of nearby events, but far above, or offering, in addition to
the written story information, an approximation to reality, or a supplement and it
serves the benefit of the reader.
