ASK GOVERNOR MCCRORY TO SUPPORT THE

REPUBLICAN EFFORT TO REPLACE COMMON CORE

North Carolinians of all ideologies and all walks of life understand why its critical
to replace the Common Core standards with the highest possible
North Carolina standards.

The NC Senate and NC House both passed this week bills to establish a
commission to implement these high standards for our state (S812 and H1061).
We ask Governor McCrory to stand with North Carolina in
replacing Common Core.

Our children are not common and Common Core standards are just not good
enough for our students and teachers. North Carolina deserves better.

Common Core is not higher standards; its in fact a sub-basement start for
academic achievement. It does not do what it claims to nor can proponents
prove it ever will. Just the mere fact it usurps our control and state sovereignty
over our own schools should make you think twice.
