Talawa Gosht
I NGREDI ENTS
1 pound chopped Gosht
less than 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Powder
less than 1 teaspoon Salt(approximately 1/2 spoon)
less than 1 teaspoon Ginger and Garlic Paste
Pinch of Tumeric (haldi)
1 small Onion Chopped
2-3 Green chillies
Bunch of coriander chopped
Cooking oil
1 teaspoon Lemon juice (optional)

In a pressure cooker add red pepper, salt, ginger and garlic paste, haldi
and onion with 4 tablespoons of cooking oil. Add 3/4 cup of water Cook for
approximately 20 minutes (or until water evaporates).

Unload the contents of the pressure cooker into the frying pan. Fry the beef
for 10 minutes. Add coriander and green chillies and fry for another 5
minutes or until the beef is blackish brown in color.

Pour lime juice, mix well and serve hot with slices of onion and tomato.
