Mna ke nto zakuthi ndichukunyiswa kukutyeba kolwimi lwesiXhosa naluthando lwemibongo, amabali
amafutshane, njalo njalo. Olu hlelo lwe Kotaz ngokukhethekileyo luqulethe imibongo nemfundiso
ngendlela engummangaliso. Apha sikuphakela imibongo enoxabiso phofu singayishiyanga leyo ithetha
ngezidla umzi. Into endikhuthazayo mna kukuba umbhali angozoyikiseli ngesiphiwo sakhe angatyhafi
ngokutyhafiswa oyike ngokoyikiswa. Kumbongo ngamnye olapha ndijonge:
Ukusetyenziswa kwamagama aqhelekileyo ngendlela enomtsalane;
Ukudimbaza amagama amatsha natsho umntu ngamnye azifumanele injongo yokubhalwa
kombongo nomyalezo owambethwe ngumbongo lowo;
Ngexa kukuhle ukuwufumana umyalezo emva kokwetyisa umbongo lowo, kodwa ungade
untsokothe umbongo kucace into yokuba sakubhula sisela sinkantsa iminyaka kanti eyona nto

Ndixakathe iziqhamo zoncwadi lwesiXhosa ulwimi lwemveli, ndikuphothulela umphothulo wezincoko
eziphilisayo nengqaka kwimibongo. Namhlanje zininzi iilwimi ezithethwayo ezinye zomelele, ezinye
ziyambimbilizwa zezinye. Andifuni ke ubona isiXhosa sam nawe sishokoxeka siphelelwa yinkcasa
nakubeni siteketeke kukutyeba. Andifuni kubona ulwimi lwesiXhosa lungcwatywa luhleli ngenxa
yezinto-yinto zala maxesha. Kolu hlelo uzakutya uhluthe luncuthu maZangwa ozakuliva apha, yaye
uzafumana iingcinga ezingamphosanga konke-konke umxholo. Nokuba useRhini, useGcuwa,
ukwaNdokwenza, ukwaTyuthu, useTsholomnqa, eNxarhuni, useZola, eMbekweni, eKhayelitsha,
useZibeleni, phi phi phi .. yiza uzokufumana le nto kuthiwa sisiXhosa.

Masikubulele Mkhuluwa Bhut Mxolisi Nyezwa ngesi sibane sikhanyisayo kwicala lenkcubeko, isihobe,
noncwadi. Ungadinwa kukudimbaza kuba isizwe sibhuqwa yindlala yokufundwa kwencwadi. Noogxa
bakho abanjengoo Ayanda Billie, Mzi Mahola, Mangaliso Buzani, Monde Ngonyama, Mpumi Cilibe
nabanye, sithi nangamso, ukwanda kwaliwa ngumthakathi. Kubo bonke ababhali abaye baphosa
esivivaneni! Umhle umsebenzi wenu ningadinwa.

AMANZI AMPOMPOZAYO APHUMA EMAZANTSI EMATYENI

Ibe luvuyo nombulelo kum ekusondezweni nganeno kwesi siqendu seKotaz, nje ngomnye wabancedisi
kuhlaziyo lwalo mqulu. Ndakube nditheth ubuvuvu ukuba ndingathi isiXhosa asikhuli, okanye xa
ndinokunixelela ukuba abekho ababhali besiXhosa abagqwesayo. Naba bakhona, baphilile ngesingqi
nesimbo sokubhala esidlamkileyo. Bekani iindlebe niphulaphule iimbongi zakwaXhosa zicula iimihobe
nemibongo kamnandi. Ababhali bethu abachaseli kude kwimiba edla emazantsi ngaphakathi isizwe sethu
esimnyama, ngakumbi intsokolo engxamele ukuthibaza ingqondo zabantu bonke.
Kancinci ebunzimeni: ekuhlakuleni kwethu le ntsimi ichume yaf amacala iKotaz, ekukhangeleni kwethu siye
sakhonjiswa zizinyanya zethu kubabhali abamangalisayo ngosiba lwabo. Uchapha lweembono zabo
lunongwe ngezakhono ezingathethekiyo ekusebenziseni ulwimi ngendlela ekhethekileyo. Kwalapha siye

AMAZWI AMAFUTSHANE NGOBUME BESIZWE NO-NCWADI

Phofu sizwe sasekhaya nicinga okokuba yintoni le inyanzelisa umbhali aphakamise usiba abhale phantsi
incwadi, okanye abhale umbongo? Iyintoni intsingiselo yentsomi, umbongo, isihobe, ibali elifutshane nelide
ngakumbi kwelixesha limiyo? Ingaba okukubhala mhlawumbi nje yinkcitha xesha, umbhali sukube ebhala
phantsi nje ujamelene nentsunguzi yesithukuthezi nomvandedwa? Mhlawumbi isizathu asifihlakalanga
konke-konke YIMALI! Mhlawumbi ukubhala kukonwabisa. Wumbi uyakuthi ukubhala oku kukufundisa

Abaphambukeli eAfrika bafikele ebantwini abaphilileyo, kubantu abanobuntu namasiko, kumadoda
nabafazi azidlayo nanesidima. Sesosidima nokokuzidla okusilahlileyo namhlanje. Ukudlakathiswa
kwabantwana. Ukuphathwa ngqwabalala kwamantombazana namaxhewukazi. Obu bububhedengu
kumaAfrika. Kuquka ukwandiselana phakathi kwendoda nendoda. UThixo akabhidekanga ngqondo edala
