What type of photography are you going to produce?

The type of photography that I will produce is landscape photography. I will capture
my images from Nunnington Hall and the surrounding villages.
What contexts could this type of photography be used in?
There are many uses for landscape photography;

Who are your influences for this project?
$n influence of mine for this pro%ect is &ay Goodwin' she is a landscape
photographer that concentrated on the #ritish countryside. !he influenced me
(ecause she wasnt the usual landscape photographer. This is (ecause her wor"
has a documentary style to it (ut maintains a mystical )uality which I thin" is really
interesting. Her photographs dont portray the clich* view of the #ritish countryside
with puffy white clouds and a sunny aspect. +ather she has commonly captured
the landscape in more dramatic circumstances with threatening clouds and
dramatic light.
What will you subjects be for this project?
The su(%ects for my pro%ect will (e the Nunnington hall gardens and the surrounding
landscape. &or my pro%ect Intend to capture photographs of the gardens and the
landscape' including the rule of thirds. I also intent to capture images of the (ridge with the
river flowing underneath it. I dont need any props or models for my photography wor"' this
is (ecause typical landscape photography doesnt include these things.
What techniques will you use?
&or this pro%ect I will (e using a ,anon -..d with a /0122 lens. Techni)ues that I will use
throughout my pro%ect are things li"e using a tripod to avoid camera sha"e' I will (e using a
small aperture of f3/- to ensure plenty depth of field' I will also use a low I!4 of /.. to
reduce less noise' my white (alance setting will (e set to daylight and finally I will
incorporate' into some of my images' the +ule of thirds. This is where an image should (e
imagined as' divided into nine e)ual parts (y two e)ually1spaced horizontal lines and two
e)ually1spaced vertical lines. $ligning a su(%ect with these points creates more tension'
energy and interest in the wor". My last techni)ue is' I will (e using 5P6G format (ecause
this is the most appropriate format for the computer I will (e using to upload and edit my
photographs.
