English 102: College Writing and Rhetoric, Spring 2014 Fall 2014 Teaching Assistant, University of Idaho Taught three sections (three sections of 26 students), focusing on the composition of an academic research paper. Students learned how to find a topic, research sources online and in the library and include the available information into their writing. Further major assignments include an exploratory essay, an argumentative paper and the oral presentation of the research paper.
English 101: Introduction to College Writing, Fall 2013 Teaching Assistant, University of Idaho Taught two sections (two sections of 26 students), introducing the basic concepts of rhetoric as well as deepening reading comprehension in general. The major assignments in this class intended to introduce students to different writing genres and form critical thinking skills while forming thesis statements and arguments.
