Basketball Resume
Offense
I am a tall and strong Guard/Forward who is efficient with his shot selection and excels in a style
of play that looks for the best shot. I have also played well in an up-tempo aggressive style of
basketball. I also have a lightening uick first step and love to make plays for my teammates off
the catch or finish strong at the rim. !s a result of my height" ball handling skills" and strength"
he is versatile enough to play the guard position and take advantage of a small defender in the
post at #$%& '$ and ()% pounds. In my year at *assbay +ommunity +ollege during the (),,-
(),( season" I showed I am an extremely efficient player when I shot %-. from the field over
the course of the season. /uring my time at +astleton 0tate +ollege I showed I can be extremely
efficient in a short amount of time. 1here have been games where I scored ,- points in ,%
minutes" ,2 points in ,% minutes" and ,3 points in ,- minutes.
/efense
I have great length and foot speed so I am able to stay in front and disrupt the offense player. *y
teammates know I will give up my body and dive on the floor for loose balls. I have been asked
to guard the best players on the opposing team. For example" on 4/4/,( I was asked to guard the
56+!! 7egion (,$s leading scorer well below his average. On (/,#/,4 I held the opposing
teams best perimeter scorer to %-,4 shooting. I use my athleticism to my advantage and rebound
the ball well. !gainst 7oxbury +ommunity +ollege I scored ,8 points and pulled down ,)
rebounds. On ,/,8/,4 I grabbed - rebounds in ,% minutes.
Intangibles/+oaching
In addition to my skill on the court" I was good in the classroom. I$m graduating college next
month with a 9achelor$s /egree in *ass *edia +ommunication and a *inor in +oaching. *y
strong educational background can help your program because I am open to being a big part of
the culture and contributing member of the community. I have participated in clinics that teach
basketball skills to young children. I have also participated in the 0pecial Olympics" which ran
basketball games for people with disabilities. If the opportunity presents itself I would love to
coach your younger youth clubs or women$s along with fulfilling my duties as a basketball
player.
Future Goals
In 6anuary of (),, I committed to play at +astleton 0tate +ollege" due to financial reasons I
wasn$t able to attend the following fall semester. Instead I attended and played at *assbay
+ommunity +ollege and received offers to play elsewhere. Instead of going back on my word" I
remained loyal to +astleton$s coaching staff. +ontinuing basketball at the professional level is
the next commitment I plan to make a reality. 1he opportunity to play professional basketball in
1urkey is a lifelong dream of mine and one that I am eager to fulfill. 1he opportunity to play for
your club would be priceless. 9asketball is what keeps me going everyday and I$m not ready to
end my career.
