WHAT IS THE 2014 NSHMBA CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP?

The NSHMBA Conference Scholarship is an opportunity for Hispanics in the United States who are interested in looking for professional business opportunities in corporate America. This scholarship connects applicants to our network of corporate and other business partners through an experience that provides professional development, job-seeking skills, and face-to-face interaction with recruiters from top corporations. As part of the scholarship program, awardees will receive travel and accommodations to and from Philadelphia, personalized coaching in preparation for time with recruiters and corporate representatives from hiring and exhibiting companies, as well as access to professional development trainings and networking events throughout the three days of travel. This years conference is taking place from September 24-27, 2014 in Philadelphia, PA.

AWARD DESCRIPTION
Air/Train Travel to and from Philadelphia 2 nights stay at the 2014 Conference Headquarter hotel, the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown 1.5 to 3 hours of individualized career management trainings in areas such as: o Resume critiques o Interview Coaching o Elevator Speeches 2 day Exhibitor Hall pass (access to over 150 hiring companies) Access to ALL professional development trainings and sessions taking place throughout Conference Access to ALL networking receptions and events

REQUIREMENTS
