Organizational environment is the set of forces and pressures which can affect the way it operates and functions as well as its ability to acquire scarce resources. Those can be varied factors of production. The environment can further be classified into the specific and general environment, general as demographic, cultural, international forces, political forces, environmental forces, economic forces and technological forces and specific environment as customers, distributor, unions, government, suppliers and competitors. The scope of influence of organization can be defined by its domain which is the range of products and services which it produces and the customers and other stakeholders it serve. Talking further about the specific environment it consists of forces outside stakeholder groups that directly affect an organization ability to secure resources.
