Learning outcomes: The pupils are able to a) Recognise and differentiate types of plants b) Read at least 3 out of 10 the name of plants accurately. c) Say the characteristic 3 out of 10 plants Subject integration: science Skill integration : listening and speaking skills Therapy element : speech therapy Moral value : Loving: Love the plants Cooperation: Cooperate with each other.

Induction Set (5 minutes)

Visit to the garden

Teacher ask students Moral to pick up the leaves and flowers in the garden love the environment Keep the environment clean Teaching aid Moral Attention to type of plants and its characteristi c Cooperation with the teacher and friends Teaching aid - flash card -

After collecting the things in the garden, students have to gather under the tree.

Step 1 (10 minutes )

Differentiat e types of plants

Teacher pint point student to tell the type of plant they get the leaf or flower from.

Teacher will explain the type of plant to the students using flash card with the plant name on it.

Example, the shape of leaf, color of the flower and name of the plant

All students will be involved.

Step 2 (7 minutes)

Learn more about plants

Teacher will show the characteristics of the plant to the student.

Teaching aid -

Example : fruits of the plant, the taste of

its fruit and its use in medicine

Step 3 (5 minutes)

Consolidation

Teacher ask students moral to paste the leaf or the flower they collected on a piece of paper and write down the name of it. Teaching aid paper -effort -independent

Teacher will guide by their side. Their work done will be paste in their classroom

Closure (3 minutes)

Recall back the lesson of the day

Teacher will flashback the lesson of the day

Value -remind -appreciation

Teacher will ask the student once again to recall the names or the characteristics of the plants the learned.
