Uno de los destinos tursticos ms visitados en Chalatenango es el Cerro El Pital, en esta ocasin les contar un poco acerca de esa experiencia. Tienes tres opciones para llegar: En vehculo, en bus y la otra es caminando. Si quieres llegar en vehculo, debes hacerlo atravs de la Carretera Troncal del Norte y pasar por La Palma y luego por San Ignacio. Llegando a San Ignacio slo te restarn unos trece kilmetros para llegar al Cerro El Pital.

You have three options to get there: By car, by bus and the other is walking. If you arrive by car, you should do Trough The North Trunk Road and go through La Palma and then San Ignacio. Arriving at San Ignacio will subtract only about thirteen kilometers to the Cerro El Pital.

Es uno de los lugares donde nacionales y extranjeros se dan cita, especialmente los fines de semana; por su clima muy fresco y las vistas desde el sur de la ciudad. Definitivamente un lugar de mucha actividad, donde podemos no solo disfrutar de las vistas, sino tambin saborear unas deliciosas pupusas acompaadas de una cerveza bien fra o un delicioso caf.

Se encuentra situado a un kilmetro del parque Balboa.
