Research resources in statistics

I choose to study statistics because it is widely used in every aspect of the world,I can choose what I like using statistics to study.Statistics need us to analysis,so Its interesting to discover by my own work. I love biostatistics most since I love biology and statistics give me a chance to combine both statistics and biology.

The main basic hand-book is Wiely Series in Probability and mathematical statistics by Bhattacharyya and Johnson, in this text-book, the author introduced basic method and we do practices using this handbook. The other useful hand book like Statistics (Boundless, !"#$textbook is a college-le%el, introductory handbook that co%ers the fascinating sub&ect of 'tatistics, a branch of mathematics often highly rele%ant to e%eryday situations. Boundless works with sub&ect matter experts to select the best open educational resources a%ailable on the web, re%iew the content for (uality, and create introductory, college-le%el textbooks designed to meet the study needs of uni%ersity students. Probability and Statistics - Basic (a Short Course)()*-" +oundation, !" $ is an introduction to theoretical probability and data organi, ation. 'tudents learn about e%ents, conditions, random %ariables, and graphs and tables that allow them to manage data. Statistics in Plain English, (Timothy ). -rdan, !"!$ pro%ides a brief, simple o%er%iew of statistics to help readers gain a better understanding of how statistics work and how to interpret them correctly. .ach chapter describes a different statistical techni(ue, ranging from basic concepts like

central tendency and describing distributions to more ad%anced concepts such as t tests, regression, repeated measures /012/, and factor analysis. .ach chapter begins with a short description of the statistic and when it should be used. This is followed by a more in-depth explanation of how the statistic works. +inally, each chapter ends with an example of the statistic in use, and a sample of how the results of analyses using the statistic might be written up for publication. / glossary of statistical terms and symbols is also included. Rather than handbooks, authoritati%e text books are important to my discipline knowledge. Beyond Anova (Rupert,"345$ introduce a kind of important method used in '/'(famous software in statistics$. Journal of /pplied statistics was established by 9opal, who was a part of Royal statistical society and the :nstitute of 'tatistics in "3;<. The &ournal is a bridge connecting statistics to a %ariety of disciplines depending on application in statistics. Journal of /pplied statistics also pro%ides a forum for communication between both applied statistics and users of applied statistical techni(ues across a wide range of disciplines. These areas include business, computing, economics, ecology, education, biology, management, medicine, operational research and society, but papers from other areas are also considered. :n "3;<,as a part of Royal 'tatistical 'ociety and the :nstitute of 'tatisticians, 9opal decided to produce a home-grown applied statistics &ournal suitable for practising statisticians and applied research workers. The humble beginning of his &ournal, which was then known as the Bulletin in /pplied 'tatistics(B:/'$, has now transformed into a top international &ournal of statistics known as the Journal of /pplied 'tatistics. This issue sees the Journal of /pplied 'tatistics mo%e into its thirty-fifth %olume. The Journal has grown from homespun beginnings to a leading international publication in the mathematics and statistics arena producing twel%e issues per year. The Journal pro%ides a forum for communication between both applied statisticians and users of statistical techni(ues across a wide range of disciplines. /s a benchmark of its (uality, it has been included in the 'ciences )itation :ndex since "33=, en&oying more than ten years among the highest ranked statistics &ournals in the world.1ne of the greatest achie%ements of the Journal is that it has ac(uired a broad international appeal, which is e%idenced by the

wide geographical spread of authors publishing in any gi%en issue. :n the research of biology, people use &ournals in biostatistics to study, they face different data in huge differences to analy,e the changing result and regular pattern. /s a conclusion, statistics plays an important role in the process of obser%ation and final output. +or example, if current approaches are a%ailable for establishing conception probabilities depending upon the research (uestion and extent of data collection during the structural cycle, but researchers eager to propose a biologically %alid discrete sur%i%al model that unifies the approaches while relaxing some assumptions that may not be consistent with human reproduction or beha%ior. :n the process of unifying and modifying, they need to create new models based on statistical application to fit for their needs. The Journal of statistics collects papers that create new statistical models and methods in biology to obser%e experimental result, so the Journal is a bridge connecting statistics and biology. 'imilar to biology, many other disciplines rely on applied statistics to reach their process in modeling. The most &ournals in statistics use formal language to de%elop the content and speciali,ed %ocabularies fre(uently appear to focus on different specific ma&ors.+ormulas and models are main roles to form an &ournal article since statistic centered on data analysis and data need models to collect information. 'tatistics gi%es us a chance to connect many disciplines using statistical methods. The Royal 'tatistical 'ociety (R''$ is one of the world?s most distinguished and renowned statistical societies. :t is both a learned society for statistics and a professional body for statisticians. :t was founded in "4#< as the 'tatistical 'ociety of @ondon and became the Royal 'tatistical 'ociety by Royal )harter in "44;.
