Level and Age: Context: Function: Grammatical or Lexical items: Student Task: Script: Novice learners 15-16yr old High School Students Music Recognizing relevant items in a speech and listening for specific information. n/a I will read my students a short paragraph about the group Man and they have to write down the answers as they listen to them. I made up the script from the listening activity. It has very similar content to listening activity and thats why it would be perfect for the novice level. El grupo Man una banda mexicana. El gnero que se especializan es rock. El grupo est formado por Fernando, Juan, Alejandro y Sergio. Han lanzado varios discos uno de los discos ha sido Cuando los ngeles lloran. En este disco se encuentra la cancin Mis ojos. En esta cancin se menciona ojos ocho veces, boca la mencionan una vez, corazn tambin una vez y finalmente mencionan piel cuatro veces. Grading Criteria: The activity is worth 18 points. The first three questions are worth 2 points, one point for the correct word and another point if it spelled correctly. Question number four is only worth one point per name and the last question each number is worth 2 point, 1 point for the correct number and another point for spelling it correctly.
