Psychomotor- Students will be able to demonstrate proper dribbling form by using their finger pads and keeping the ball waist high and passing by stepping with the opposite foot and pushing with hands away. Cognitive- Students will be able to understand in order to bounce pass it to their partner, the ball should hit the ground halfway to their partner.

Affective- Sudents will be able to demonstrate cooperation by counting and time others while in stations.

Set Induction: Has anyone ever watched a NBA or WNBA game before? Has anyone gotten the chance to go to a game? Today we are going to learn some of the skills famous basketball players such as Lebron James and Jason Kidd use everyday in games and practice.

There will be 4 stations set up for this lesson. The tasks will be printed on a sheet of paper taped onto the wall for the students to read over and complete. Students will stand on a line in the gym and face me in order to receive instruction of where to go next. I will have a note card for each student with their name written in a color, the person with the same color is their partner for the day. Remind them when I yell Switch they should quickly reset the station and jog to the next. Purple Start X X X X X x End

Activity/Task 2 min Station #1: Dribble Maze Students must dribble around the cones from the start to finish while the partner is counting out loud, or timing on a watch how long it takes for the partner to complete the maze. Switch partners so that each person has gone once. Try to get the fastest score you can get! Record your time on your note card! Transition - After each specific activity/task

He/she will count how many passes he/she gets while the other partner is counting out loud or timing on a watch for 1 minute. Switch roles and record time on note card! Transition - After each specific activity/task you MUST describe how you will TRANSITION to the next activity/task. Activity/Task 2 min Station #3: Cross-Over Target Students will go one at a time practicing their cross over dribble while stationary. There will be a poly spot for students to try and hit when they are crossover dribbling. The partner dribbling will try to hit the poly spot as many times as possible without missing, while the other partner is counting. Switch roles and record highest number on note card! Transition - After each specific activity/task you MUST describe how you will TRANSITION to the next activity/task. Activity/Task 2 min Station #4: Moving Pass Students will start standing 5 yards away from each other and then begin bounce passing from one section of the gym back to the same place they started. Repeat this until it is time to switch. One point is awarded when you come back to the beginning. Write down your total on your note cards!
