The Mole and The Queen

Monitoring and Evaluation in May and June 2013


Effective monitoring and evaluation helps us get the most out of our Comenius project. By keeping a close eye on how the project is progressing, we will also be able to adapt our objectives and activities to new or changing needs. The questions below have been taken from the Comenius Handbook for schools, and are particularly relevant to School Partnerships. The evaluation was done in May and June 2013 and the result was following: 1. In what school are you woking? There was only four of the schools who participated in this evaluation.

2.Have the plans been followed? All partisipated say that the plans have been followed in there schools.

3. Should the partnership project be modified? Most of the participants think that the parnership dont need to be modified.

4. What are the benefits of a given activity for the pupils? Cartoons for mole are very instructive for children. Through them, they utilize common to mankind moral values, good friendship, care for others. At the beginning of the project, we educators in kindergarten, started working on chess training of children with some fear, because we were not sure if the kids would be willing to play this game. Now, almost at the end of the first year of the project, we can share that many children are interested in it. In preparatory classes in kindergarten has about a dozen children who are well advanced in this game. Show lasting desire and pleasure play it during the planned learning situations or activity of interest. This positive result, however, would be unthinkable if not to develop their interest with interest together with parents and other members of the families of the children. Parents will be involved in some forms of work with children in kindergarten to teach them to her. Spend their free time at home to develop their chess skills and knowledge. Their support is a real and sincere, which we are grateful that we support in the implementation of this part of the project. It turned out that the interest in the game show not only the children and their teachers, but other members of the staff of the kindergarten. We believe it is important to explain to our children, their parents and the general public of the city of Dve mogili that each partner / country is a unique blend of culture, language and historical events, which can be an inspiration to others. Project "The Mole And The Queen" was performed many activities that it complemented and enriched with goals, objectives and outcomes. We believe that our successfully combined the academic educational program for preschool children with this project. Our program was not only diverse, but also more exciting for the kids. Teaching staff for the project was a new challenge and improve their qualifications, skills and knowledge.

Cognitive abilities of children are increasing. Expand the knowledge of the children are enriched with culture and moral values of other countries. 16. What have been negative in this project?


It would be great if each teacher might have more to say about the project. Maybe teathers in each school could have meetings to discuss the project and have more to say about it and how they are going to work together. Cognitive abilities of children are increasing. Support our decision taken during the meeting in Bulgaria, Iceland and partner to our project coordinator in the future. I think he understands the importance of co-ordinating function for the successful completion of the project by all participants. Fjola Thorvaldsdottir is very responsible and disciplined person who has experience in implementing projects. We believe in the progress of the project under the new leadership.
