    O - Temp. 38 ºC -Headache
    -Warm to touch
    A Hyperthermia related to inflammation of the bronchioles
    P At the end of 30 mins nursing intervention I will be able to lower down the
    body’s temperature of my client.
    I Independent
    1. perform tepid sponge bath
    R: heat loss by evaporation and conduction
    2. monitor the temperature
    R: to note if the TSB has been effective
    3. Discuss the importance of increase fluid intake.
    R: to prevent dehydration
    Dependent
    1. Administer antipyretic as prescribed (paracetamol 500mg q 6 º for fever)
    R: inhibits the release of prostaglandins does decreases the body temperature.
    E After 30 mins of nursing intervention the client temperature has lowered
    down to 37 º C
