A Short Shot Of Rain

As my window reveals the dull night, A short shot of rain is followed by my eyes. My garden finally lends me some light, All around went silent as the drops fell from sky.

A tropical shower visits my loved streets, Rejoicing and dancing are my thistle and weeds, My dry land opens its mouth in desperate thirst... But I can proudly vaunt... I was there first.

The crispy wet bullets shatter on the paved floor, Crystal assasins flashing and constant upon my door, And an oftenly consistent call upon my thoughts, Follows, like so many times before.

A glorious gift from Heaven's wonders, This days are dust, and it's been a long summer, And the heat and the haste did their plunder, Now we can lay our heads, and rest our shoulders.
