The document summarizes a research study that evaluated the immunological effects of varying dietary magnesium intake in mice. 45 mice were divided into 3 groups receiving different magnesium doses in their diets (XXX mg, XXX mg, XXX mg) over 45 days. Blood tests were performed at 15 day intervals to measure hemoglobin, blood cell counts, platelets, and C-reactive protein. Tissue samples from the brain, liver, heart and kidney were also analyzed histopathologically. The results and conclusions of the study are not yet presented as the deadline for the conference is September 17, 2012.

16 - 19 October 2012 Title: Immunological effects in mices with a varying dietary Magnesium intake. Authors: aMD Albela, Jos; aMD Canales, Rosa; MD Barrios, Jorge. Institution: aBien de Salud Laboratory. Topic: Research Objective: To evaluate the inmunological effects in mices with a low and high dietary Magnesium intake. Material and Methods: We use 45 male Holfman mices for the experiment. These mices were randomly divided in 3 groups of 15 mices each. The first group (group A) received a dietary Magnesium intake of XXX mg, the second one (group B) received XXX mg and the last group was the control and received XXX mg. All the diets were made We sacrificed 5 mices of each group in three moments, after 15 days each. We messeaured hemoglobin, white and red cells blood account, platelets and the reactive C protein. Also we analized the histopathological changes in the brain, liver, heart and kidney of each mice. Results: Conclusion:
