    Personal Experience: I would like to share my experience when I was working in my first job but due to confidentiality issues I wont disclose the name of the company. I was working in sales, our business model was based on cash and carry business. Our logistic people (C&F) were required to collect the current date cheque when they deliver the material to dealers. Most of the time some dealers used to give the postdated cheque which was against the norm of the company, so at that point the C&F guy used to call the sales guy and ask what to do? Normally just to maintain long term relationship with our dealer we ask our C&F guy to accept the postdated cheque which was unethical. But from time to time there was an audit or visit of the superiors from the head office where just for the sake of window dressing we all (sales people) used to shows those account that were making payment timely and try to hide the defaulters.
