IMPORTANT NOTICES: 9th October End of Unit Celebration and IB workshop sessions. We will be visiting the Library on the 18th of October, to borrow books for our new unit and to borrow books in their mother tongue language. A new addition to the timetable , is on a Tuesday Afternoon from 1-1:30. The children will have the possibility to borrowing Library books from the school Library and read books in their mother tongue language. Last day of Swimming is the 15th of October.

Starting new unit Brain storm about different Geographical features. Inquire into how mountains, fjords, glaciers, rivers, oceans are formed and their function in the world.

ENGLISH Spelling Is student dependent. Reading Mother tongue books, and reading aloud. Presenting Speaking loud and with enthusiasm. Writing We will be doing creative writing on Wednesdays after lunch. Each week I will give each child something they need to improve on for the next week. - We will also be looking at the structure and grammar within Procedural writing.

MATHS Child dependent. Multiplying 4 and 4 digits together. Multiplying Multi digits together. Multiplying decimals together. Multiplying simple and mixed fractions together. Solving a variety of Multiplication Word problems.

English: Spelling Spelling is individual.. Some are spelling words that they keep getting wrong in their writing, others will have new words. Maths Revision sheets on basic Mathematics. U.O.I Each child will be given a different geographical landform that they will need to inquire into. They will need to describe how the landform is formed. Where these geographical land forms are found in the world. Are there an famous ones of these landforms, if so where are they Its function in the world. How it affects people.
