Cars are the greatest danger to human life today

Have you ever consider cars as a threat to human life? The way I see it, cars can be dangerous in several ways but they are a necessary evil since our society cannot survive without them. In the first place, cars are one of the major causes of air pollution. The harmful fumes that cars exhaust are very dangerous for our health as well as the environment. It has been said that cities would be less polluted if cars were banned. However, society needs an independent means of transport such as cars. Apart from this, car accidents are the biggest killer in the world. Every day we hear about fatal car accidents where people is killed or seriously injured. More people are killed because of accidents related to cars than anything else in the world. It has been argued that cars are the best mean of transport. Thanks to cars people have more freedom to decide where and when to travel without having to rely on anyone else. Cars allow us to travel far distances faster and to visit places that conventional means of transport cannot reach. All things considered, cars have many advantages and disadvantages. It is true that cars cause air pollution and that they kill many people in the world. However, cars are one of the best inventions of humanity. It allowed us to go places that otherwise we could not go and to connect with each other.
