TempTrak Temperature Monitoring

Wireless temperature monitoring is one of the most exciting innovations happening in the Foodservice industry today - The TempTrak Monitoring System eliminates the time and expense of manual temperature collecting. No longer will you need to visit and record temperatures of walk-in coolers, hot and cold holding units, and other temperature equipment requiring frequent monitoring. No need for external power or network connectivity, the battery-powered TempTrak remote sensors can be mounted in any location and wirelessly transmit information to the software, collecting and recording every temperature and humidity reading like clock work. Each sensor monitors against preset conditions that are defined by the user and will communicate an alert by a variety of methods including pager or e-mail when a danger zone condition exists. TempTrak software creates reports on all temperature / humidity information collected through the system. It provides records of corrective actions and monthly performance summaries for easy identification of problem equipment. Data can be stored indefinitely to provide years of history. TempTrak frees managers to spend more time with customers and employees! Intelli-PDA
Intelli-PD is a Pocket PC based application designed to take ANY form and convert it to an electronic document. Use the browser-based back office interface to create your form, and the program will automatically convert it into a software application to run on the PDA; plus, it will create several back office reports. NO ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING IS NEEDED. The software can handle over 18 Question Types, including: multiple choice, yes or no, date, text, time, temperature, and much more . . . All Intelli-PDA collections performed are identified to a user and time/date stamped. The system will tell when and how long it took to complete a form, and can collect a signature at the end of a form. Through the use of bar code location identifiers, you can be assured that the person performing the collection was actually in the specified location. Once the location bar code has been scanned, the questions appear and the process is continued until the form has been completed. The USDA Food Code requires food must be cooled below 41F in less than four hours after cooking or hot holding. The TTM41 Coolit-Rite Cooling Validator will assist an operator in verification of compliance with these HACCP Guidelines. Bi-Metal & Stem Test Thermometers

Bi-metal thermometers should be checked for accuracy if dropped, or exposed to temperatures greater or less than the span of the dial. For accurate readings, the Cooper-Atkins bi-metal pocket test has an external dimple on the stem to indicate exactly where the coil ends, and its appropriate minimum insertion point. We do not recommend use of bi-metal thermometers for thin foods such as hamburgers.
