Use of the Abutment Shoulder Depth Gauge assures proper abutment height for subgingival margins. The markings on the depth gauge correspond to the shoulder heights of the 5.0mm diameter abutments. Note that the 3.5mm and 4.0mm diameter abutments have a 0.5mm shorter shoulder height. Acrylic sleeves may be modi ed to accommodate a desired clinical result. Only aluminous porcelains may be used with the aluminum oxide sleeves. Each abutment comes packaged with two one-piece sleeves. The 3.5mm abutment must be extra-orally cemented using DiamondLink by DRM.

Final Crowns
One-piece sleeves may be used for temporization without the use of temporary cement. They may be used for transfer impressions, occlusal registrations, corrective copings, and as waxing sleeves.
5.0mm abutment transfer die being inserted into one-piece acrylic sleeve by aligning internal ats of sleeve with ats on transfer die.
Vacuum-formed template con rming adaptation prior to the fabrication of a transitional crown.
Composite resin being injected around the second onepiece sleeve. With some composites, it may be advisable to roughen the surface of sleeve and add a bonding agent prior to adding the composite resin.
Bicon aluminum oxide sleeves are readily cut or modied in seconds by placing the sleeve onto an abutment in its prep holder while holding it against the rotating diamond wheel of a model trimmer.
