CARACTERISTICAS Las cajas de la serie 3000-H EExe son aptas para contener bornas destinadas a sistemas de derivacin, debiendo instalarse de acuerdo con las prescripciones indicadas en las nornas EN 60079-14 y EN 50281-1-2. FABRICACIN. Caja y tapa estn construidas en chapa de hierro con espesores de 1'5 2 mm. segn tamao. ACABADO. Recubrimiento en polvo epoxi poliester color gris (similar a RAL 7042) y acabado gofrado, efectuado mediante proyeccin electrosttica y secado al horno a 180-200C. Previamente al acabado con objeto de obtener un perfecto desengrase y una ausencia total de suciedad y polvo, antes de proceder al pintado se realiza un pretratamiento consistente en un desengrasado tipo neutro seguido de una conversin al aluminio no crmica (no daando el medio ambiente) y finalizando con un secado a 80C. Este tipo de tratamiento ofrece una buena estabilidad del color a la luz U.V. y trmica, otorgando a su vez importantes propiedades de proteccin a agentes qumicos (por lo general ofrece una excelente resistencia a la mayora de los cidos, lcalis y aceites a temperatura ambiente), niebla salina o ambientes hmedos. CIERRE. Mediante tornillos tipo imperdible en acero inoxidable, los cuales van provistos de una junta de nylon cuya finalidad es tanto garantizar la estanqueidad como evitar la manipulacin con una herramienta que no sea la especfica para su apriete. El roscado del tornillo se realiza sobre un casquillo roscado, tambin de acero inoxidable que est soldado en la caja. ESTANQUEIDAD. Se efecta mediante una junta de neopreno insertada en el borde de la caja, obtenindose un grado de proteccin IP-65 segn UNE 20324, CEI 529 y EN 60529. FIJACIN. Tipo mural por medio de patillas soldadas al fondo de la caja con ranuras que permiten su fijacin. PLACA DE MONTAJE Y BORNAS. En el interior y sobre el fondo, la caja dispone de cuatro esprragos roscados para fijacin de la placa de montaje. En dicha placa irn montadas, siempre por APLEI, S.A., bornas activas o de tierra con certificado de componente basado en la Directiva 94/9/CE. El nmero mximo por seccin es el indicado en las tablas correspondientes en cada referencia de caja, aunque no obstante, y dependiendo de los

CHARACTERISTICS Series 3000-H boxes are suitable for containing terminals for junction systems. They must be installed according to the instructions of standards EN 60079-14 and EN 50281-1-2.
MATERIAL. Box and cover are manufactured in stainless steel quality AISI-304 or AISI-316, with 1.5 or 2 mm. plate thickness according to different sizes. SURFACE FINISH. Coated with grey epoxi polyester powder (similar to 7042 RAL) with coarse texture, made by electrostatic projection and dry into an oven to 180-200C. To obtain a perfect degreasing and absolute absence of dirt and dust, a pre-treatment consisting of a neutral-type degreasing followed by a non-chromic conversion to aluminium (i.e. no damage to the environment), finished with a dry to 80C. This treatment provides colour with an excellent resistance against UV light and temperature changes, as well as a high protection against chemical agents (most of acids, alkalis and oils at room temperature), saline mist and wet environments.
CLOSURE. By means of stainless steel captive flush screws with a nylon washer, that ensures a perfect closure and avoid manipulation with tools different to those specifically made to tighten them. The screw is threaded on a stainless steel screw base that is welded in the box.
WATERTIGHTNESS. A neoprene gasket inserted in the box edge provides the box with a degree of protection of IP-65, according to UNE 20324, CEI 529 and EN 60529. FIXING. Wall mounting by means of lugs welded to the bottom, with grooves that allow to fix the box. MOUNTING PLATE AND TERMINALS. The box has inside and at the bottom thickness parts to fix the mounting plate on with screws without external drilling. Active or earth terminals will go mounted on to the mounting plate, always by APLEI, S.A.. These terminals have certificate of component according to Directive 94/9/EC. The correspondent charts of each box type indicate the maximum number of terminals by section. However, depending on the

distintos tamaos y formas segn el fabricante de las bornas, en algunos casos este nmero podr ser menor o incluso no ser posible su montaje en la caja indicada en la tabla. La tensin mxima asignada corresponder a la menor de las bornas activas utilizadas, hasta un mximo de 750V. PUESTA A TIERRA. Las cajas disponen de una borna interior y otra exterior consistentes en tornillo de acero inoxidable con tuerca del mismo material, que permite la unin de un conductor equipotencial de masas de 35 mm2, estando garantizado el antiaflojamiento por una arandela partida de acero inoxidable. ENTRADAS. Dado que el espesor de las paredes de las cajas no permite la realizacin de roscas en los taladros que se efecten, las entradas de cable que se usen sern de rosca cilndrica y su montaje se realizar utilizando una junta de goma y una contratuerca para asegurar la estanqueidad. No obstante, y en el caso de que se deseen colocar entradas de cables con rosca cnica respetando el mnimo de cinco hilos de rosca que exigen las normas, se podrn colocar para ello unos manguitos con rosca exterior del mismo material de la caja que se sueldan a la pared de esta. El roscado de las entradas se puede efectuar segn diferentes normas, siendo las ms usuales la ISO 261 para rosca mtrica, la norma ASA B.2.1 para rosca NPT, y la DIN 40430 para la rosca Pg. Opcionalmente, y siempre sobre pedido, las cajas podrn suministrarse con laterales desmontables del mismo material y espesor que el resto de la caja, incluyendo una junta de estanqueidad del mismo material que la junta insertada en la tapa la cual asegure el grado de proteccin especificado para la caja. CLASE DE TEMPERATURA: T6. En condiciones de funcionamiento normal con las bornas homologadas, garantiza un lmite de temperatura superficial, no alcanzndose la temperatura de 85C en el exterior de la envolvente.

The terminal having the lowest voltage determines the highest voltage permitted in the enclosure, up to a maximum of 750V. GROUND CONNECTION. The enclosures have an external connection and an internal connection consisting of one screw with nut each, both in stainless steel. It allows the joining of a mass equipotential conductor of 35 mm2. The anti-loosening is ensured by a stainless steel split washer. ENTRIES. Due to the thickness wall box, it is not allowed to make threads on the drills. Cable entries to be used must be cylindrical mounted using a gum joint and a lock nut to guarantee waterproofness.
However in case of cable entries with conic thread to be used and scoping with the minimum of five threads wires demanded by standard, internal-threaded sleeves made of the same box material can be welded to the box wall. In that case the entries can be threaded according to several standards, being the most usual ISO 261 for metric thread, ASA B.2.1 for NPT thread and DIN 40430 for Pg thread.
In addition, under purchase order, boxes can be supplied with removable gland plates made of the same material and thickness as that one of the boxes, including an insulating gasket similar to that one embedded in the cover that ensures the box IP Degree of Protection. TEMPERATURE CLASS: T6. Using standardised terminals and under normal operating conditions the temperature reached in the external surface of the enclosure is always under 85C.

En su interior las cajas van provistas de placa base aislante conteniendo 4 bornas anticizallantes, antivibratorias e inaflojables con capuchn aislante y capacidad para 4 conductores de 6 mm2, 6 de 4 mm2, 8 de 25 mm2, o cualquier combinacin de conductores de 25, 4 6 mm2, siempre y cuando la suma no exceda de 24 mm2.
Las cajas 3002-HB EEx e y 3003-HB EEx e tienen las mismas caractersticas que se indican para las 3002-H EEx e y 3003-H EEx e respectivamente. 3002-HB EEx e and 3003-HB EEx e box characterstics same as indicated for 3002-H EEx e and 3003-H EEx e respectively.
The bottom box disposes of an insulating mounting plate with 4 antishearing, shakiness, and looseness terminals with insulated cover. Connection capacity for each terminal is 4 conductors of 6 mm2, 6 of 4 mm2, 8 of 25 mm2, or any conductor combinations of 25, 4 or 6 mm2, up to 24 mm2.

CARACTERISTICAS FABRICACIN. Caja y tapa estn construidas en aleacin de aluminio, en acero inoxidable en chapa de acero, similar a las cajas de seguridad aumentada EExe de las series 3000, 3000-R, 3000-S y 3000-H. El resto de las caractersticas constructivas tales como tipo cierre, fijacin, placa de montaje, etc,... son las mismas que las de las cajas equivalentes en seguridad aumentada. Por lo que se refiere al tratamiento de las cajas y el lacado final, en el caso de las cajas de aluminio y chapa de hierro, es tambien similar al visto para seguridad aumentada, pero el color a utilizar en vez de gris es azul RAL 5010. ESTANQUEIDAD. Se efectua mediante una junta elastomrica. PUESTA A TIERRA. Las cajas disponen de una borna exterior consistente en tornillo de acero inoxidable con tuerca del mismo material, que permite la unin de un conductor equipotencial de masas de 35 mm2, estando garantizado el antiaflojamiento por una arandela partida de acero inoxidable. Sobre pedido se pueden suministrar con borna interior de las mismas caractersticas. ENTRADAS. El nmero de ellas que se puede practicar viene dado junto con las caractersticas generales de cada caja siendo en todos los casos igual al indicado en las cajas de seguridad aumentada EExe. El roscado de las entradas se efectua segn norma DIN 40430 para la rosca Pg., ASA B.2.1 para NPT e ISO 261 para rosca mtrica. GRADO DE PROTECCIN. IP-65 (*) segn normas CEI 529 , UNE 20324 y CEI 144. - Primera cifra (6). Indica proteccin total contra la penetracin de polvo. - Segnda cifra (5). Indica que el agua lanzada desde cualquier direccin no deber producir efectos perjudiciales. BORNAS: Se utilizarn bornas certificadas puediendo emplearse estas con la misma disposicin y tamao que las equivalentes de seguridad aumentada, aunque teniendo en cuenta que en el caso de la seguridad intrinseca no suelen certificarse bornas de ms de 16 mm2 de seccin. SISTEMA ELCTRICO. II 1/2 G EEx ia IIC T6. Por su grado de estanqueidad evita la entrada de polvo y fibras y garantiza un lmite de temperatura superficial. CLASE DE TEMPERATURA. T6. En condiciones de funcionamiento normal con las bornas homologadas, no se alcanza la temperatura lmite de 85C ni en el interior ni en el exterior de la envolvente.

All other building characteristics such as screw lock, fastening, mounting plate, etc, same as its increases safety boxes equivalents. Regarding to the aluminium and sheet iron boxes, treatment and final painting they are similars to what we have seen for increased safety boxes. Howeves the color change to blue RAL 5010. DEGREE OF PROTECTION. By means of elastomeric gasket . GROUND CONNECTION. External connection in boxes made of stainless steel screw and nut for power conductor till 35 mm2, guaranteed by a stainless steel split washer. Internal connection can be provided with same characteristics by order.
CABLE ENTRIES. The number of cable inlets in each side vary according to boxes, characteristics and dimension. Same as indicated in increased safety EEx e boxes. The normalized threads are Pg. (DIN 40430), NPT (ASA B.2.1) and Metric (ISO 261).
DEGREE OF PROTECTION. IP-65 to CEI 529 UNE 20324 and CEI 144. -First number (6). Protection against dust (dusttigh). -Second number (5). Protection against water projected against the equipement (enclosure) from any direction. There must be no harmfull effect (water jet). TERMINALS.They should be certified and be same as those used for increased safety boxes. Howevwe notice that terminals, for intrinsic security boxes, over 16 mm2can not be certified.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. II 1/2 G EEx ia IIC T6. For its degree of protection prevents dust and fibres to get into and guarantees a maximum temperature at surface. TEMPERATURE CLASS. T6. Using standardized terminals and under normal operating conditions the reached temperature within the device is always below the ignition point at 85C.

CARACTERSTICAS Las cajas de seguridad aumentada de las series 3000 pueden suministrarse adems de con las bornas indicadas en los apartados anteriores, montando en ellas Descontactores EEx ed IIC T6 de la serie DXN de Marechal. Estos pueden colocarse indistintamente en los laterales de las cajas o en la tapa de estas, conservndose el grado de estanqueidad. Los descontactores DXN son tomas de corriente con un dispositivo de interrupcin integrado (artculo 2.8 de la norma UNE EN 60309-1) con intensidades nominales de 16 a 32 amperios, donde los poderes de cierre y corte corresponden a las categoras de utilizacin AC23 AC22 de la norma UNE EN 60947-3, pudiendo alimentar: - Cargas constituidas por motores u otras cargas fuertemente inductivas: categora AC23. - Cargas mixtas inductivas y resistivas: categora AC22. CHARACTERISTICS Series 3000 increased safety boxes can be supplied with Marechal series DXN EEx ed IIC T6 discontactors. They can be placed on the box sides as well as on the cover, maintaining the degree of protection.
DXN discontactors are socket outlets with an integrated switching device (art. 2.8 of standard EN 60309-1) and a rated current from 16A to 32A. The closing and breaking capacity belongs to categories of use AC23 or AC22 of standard EN 600947-3. The discontactors can feed:
-Charges consisting of motors or other charges highly inductive: category AC23. -Mixed inductive and reactive charges: category AC22. CARACTERISTICAS FABRICACIN. Caja y tapa estn construidas en polister reforzado con fibra de vidrio segn DIN16913 con grafito aadido. ESTANQUEIDAD. Se efecta mediante una junta de caucho de silicona que va embutida en la tapa. CIERRE DE LA TAPA. Mediante tornillos de cabeza ranurada, de acero inoxidable M-4 o M-6 (segn tipo). FIJACION DE LA CAJA. Mediante tornillos taladros en el fondo de la caja de M-4 M-6 (segn tipo). ENTRADAS. El nmero de ellas que se puede practicar viene dado junto con las caractersticas generales de cada caja. El roscado de las entradas se efecta segn DIN 40430 para la rosca Pg., e ISO 261 para rosca mtrica. CLASE DE TEMPERATURA. T6. En condiciones de funcionamiento normal con las bornas homologadas, no se alcanza la temperatura lmite de 85 C ni en el interior ni en el exterior de la envolvente.

The number of holes that can be made is indicated in the General Characteristics of each box. The entries are threaded according to DIN 40430 for Pg thread and ISO 261 for metric thread. TEMPERATURE CLASS. T6. Using standardised terminals and under normal operating conditions the limit temperature of 85C is not reached either inside or on the enclosure surface.
ACCESORIOS PLACA DE MONTAJE. Las cajas pueden suministrarse con placas de montaje aislante, o bien opcionalmente chapa galvanizada de 2 mm. de espesor. PUESTA A TIERRA. Para la continuidad de tierra de las prensas se utilizarn las tuercas con p.a.t. serie 215. PLETINA DE PUESTA A TIERRA. Fabricadas en latn de 10x5 mm. provistas de grapas con lengeta de cierre/bloqueo. Las pletinas se fijan a la base de las cajas, bien directamente en los insertos de latn, o a unos pilares fijados a estos. TORNILLO DE P.A.T. Pueden suministrarse en latn en acero inoxidable, de M-6 de M-10. PATILLAS DE FIJACION. Suministradas en juegos de 4 unidades con tornillos de fijacin.
ACCESORIES MOUNTING PLATE. Boxes can be supplied with either an insulating mounting plate or a 2mm thick galvanised sheet iron.
GROUND CONNECTION. Nuts with ground series 215 will be used to ensure the earth continuity. EARTH BAR. Manufactured in 10x5mm brass provided with clamps with locking lug. Bars are fastened on the bottom of the enclosure whether directly on the brass inserts or on pillars fitted on them. GROUND CONNECTION BOLT. It can be supplied in either M-6 or M-10, in brass or in stainless steel. FASTENING LUGS. Supplied in sets of 4 units together with fixing bolts.

CARACTERISTICAS PRENSAESTOPAS EEx e y EEx d FABRICACIN. Los prensaestopas series 150, 160, 161, 162, 250 y 260, estn construidos en latn electropasivado, no obstante, y bajo pedido, tambin pueden fabricarse en acero electrogalvanizado, acero inoxidable y aluminio. El prensaestopa serie 254 est construido en nyln. Las juntas son elastomricas, color negro, con una dureza aproximada comprendida entre 50 y 70 shore. ROSCA. El roscado habitual se efecta en NPT segn norma ASA B.2.1., y Mtrica segn ISO 261, con calidad media o superior segn ISO 965. Opcionalmente, y sobre pedido, se pueden suministrar con rosca GAS cnica segn horma ISO 7/1 y Pg. Segn norma DIN 40430. Tanto en el caso de los prensaestopas como en los accesorios, estos se suministran sin contratuerca, a no ser que esta se solicite especficamente. ESTANQUEIDAD. Para el cumplimiento de los grados de proteccin indicados segn UNE 20324, DIN 40050 y EN 60529 y garantizar el grado de proteccin con la envolvente sobre la que se instalan, las entradas de cable y accesorios con rosca cilndrica debern disponer de una junta de estanqueidad. PUESTA A TIERRA. La continuidad elctrica en los prensas, al ser estos metlicos, se realiza suficientemente a travs del roscado del prensaestopa a la caja. MARCADO. En los prensas figura estampada el marcado requerido por la Directiva ATEX, figurando referencia y rosca, as como el sistema elctrico y grupo de aparatos para el que son aptos, el nmero de certificado que lo ampara y la marcacin CE. ACCESORIOS EEx e y EEx d FABRICACIN. Los tapones estn construidos en latn electropasivado, y las reducciones, ampliadores y niples en acero electrogalvanizado. ROSCA. Existen las mismas opciones que en el caso de los prensaestopas, es decir, el roscado normal es NPT Mtrica. existiendo la opcin de fabricar sobre pedido con rosca GAS cnica Pg. MARCADO. Todos los accesorios homologados llevan estampada la referencia, sistema elctrico y grupo de aparatos, as como nmero de certificado, aunque no llevarn la marcacin CE, al no estar esta contemplada para accesorios. Como complemento a los prensaestopas y tapones, existen otros fabricados que se detallan en las pginas 95 y 96, as como en nuestro Catlogo de Principales productos, como pueden ser: contratuercas, juntas tricas, juntas de asiento, arandelas y arandelas con puesta a tierra. 80
CABLEGLANDS EEx e and EEx d CHARACTERISTICS MATERIAL. Cable glands series 150, 160, 161, 162, 250 and 260 are made of electropassived brass. Under order requirements galvanized steel and stainless steel can also be used. The 254 cable glands are made of nylon. The seals are elastomeric, black coloured, with an approximate hardness between 50 and 70 shores. THREAD. The usual threading is made in NPT according to standard ASA B.2.1. and Metric according to ISO 261 whether medium or high quality according to ISO 965. Under order requirements conic GAS according to ISO 7/1 and Pg. according to DIN 40430 can be used. Cable glands and accesories are supplied without locknut, unless specifically expressed in the purchase order. WATERTIGHNESS. In order to fulfil the degrees of protection indicated in UNE 20324, DIN 40050 and EN 60529 and guarantee the degree of protection with the enclosure on which they are installed, the cable entries and accessories that have cylindrical thread must have a bed joint. GROUND CONNECTION. Since the cable glands are manufactured in metal, the electrical continuity of the cable glands is achieved by means of the threading. MARKING. The marking required by the ATEX Directive is engraved on the cable glands, as well as the electric system, the apparatus group for what they are suitable, the certificate number and the CE mark. FITTINGS EEx e and EEx d MATERIAL. Plugs are made of electropassived brass. Reducers, adapters and nipples are made of electrogalvanized steel. THREAD. The available options are the same as for cable glands.
MARKING. Reference, electric system and group of apparatus are engraved on every standardized accessory. However the CE mark is not engraved since it is not considered for accessories. As a complement for cable glands and plugs, there are other products detailed in pages 95 and 96, as well as in our General Catalogue such as lock nuts, o-rings, bed joints, washers and earth tags.

INTRUCCIONES DE MONTAJE El despiece de un prensa para cable armado de doble cierre aparece en la figura 1. MOUNTING INTRUCTIONS Picture 1 shows a double closure cablegland for armoured cable dismantled.
Figura 1 Para un montaje correcto del cable en el prensa, un punto muy importante es la longitud que tiene la armadura una vez cortada la funda exterior. Las longitudes aconsejadas son las que aparecen en la tabla adjunta.

Una vez que se tiene el cable cortado y preparado, se proceder siguiendo estos pasos: Se monta la pieza F sobre la caja o envolvente a utilizar. Se introduce el cable por las piezas A, B y el cono C, quedando este ltimo sobre la armadura desenfundada.
Once the cable is cut and prepared, it must be followed these steps: F piece is mounted on the box or enclosure used. Cable is introduced through A,B pieces and C cone, this one stays on the uncovered armature.

Roscamos la pieza B sobre la F ajustando los conos C y D sobre la armadura, asegurndonos que efectuen una presin efectiva sobre la misma. B piece is threaded on F piece, fitting cones C and D on the armature, you have to make sure that these one make an effective pressure on the armature.

BRAZO SOBRE PARED

CARACTERISTICAS El brazo esta fabricado en tubo sin soldadura de 2" segn DIN 2440 con las dimensiones indicadas en los dibujos adjunto, pudiendo suministrarse con dos longitudes distintas de brazo segn se utilice para luminaria de 20W o de 40W. El acabado, una vez mecanizado el brazo, es galvanizado por inmersin. Los brazos de referencias BRA0020 y BRA0040 se suministran con dos angulares de 150x60x60 y dos estribos de 2". En el caso de las referencias BRP0020 y BRP0040, para la fijacin del brazo a la pared, y aferrado a este mediante dos abrazaderas de 40x4 y 2", se incluye una placa de acero galvanizado de 500x300x5 segn detalles A y B adjuntos. En cada una de las esquinas de esta placa hay un taladro de 14 mm conteniendo un perno de anclaje de 150 mm. de longitud con tuerca de M-14 y arandela. En su parte vertical, los brazos incluyen un pivote tope de 10x30mm. para evitar que resbale apoyando sobre la abrazadera o el estribo superior. CHARACTERISTICS
WALL ARM
The arm is manufactured in a 2" tube with no welding on it according to DIN 2440 with the dimensions indicated in the enclosed drawing. The staff can be provided in two different lengths depending on it is used for an either 20W or 40W lighting. Once the arm is mechanised it is galvanized by immersion. Reference BRA0020 and BRA0040 arms are supplied with two 150x60x60 steel angles and two 2" bands. In case of references BRP0020 and BRP0040, for the purpose of fixing and grasping the arm to the wall, by means of two 40x4 and 2" clamps, a 500x300x5 galvanized steel plate is included according to the details A and B enclosed below. In each plate corner there is a 14 mm. drill containing a 150 mm. anchor with a M-14 nut and washer. At the arm vertical side, a 10x30 mm. pivot is included to avoid the arm sliding when leaning on the clamp or on the superior band.

CARACTERISTICAS El bculo esta fabricado en tubo sin soldadura de 2" segn DIN 2440 con las dimensiones indicadas en el dibujo adjunto, pudiendo suministrarse con dos longitudes distintas de brazo segn se utilice para luminaria de 20W o de 40W. El acabado, una vez mecanizado el bculo, es galvanizado por inmersin. Soldada a la base del bculo va una placa de acero galvanizado de 350x350x10 mm con 4 cartelas tambin de acero galvanizado de 150x100x6. En cada una de las esquinas de la placa base hay un taladro de 14 mm que contiene un perno de anclaje de 300 mm de longitud con una tuerca M-12 y una arandela. A 400 mm. de la base se incluye soldada una placa de acero galvanizado de 150x150x4 la cual se puede suministrar opcionalmente con una caja Rf. 3002-RB EExe mecanizada segn se solicite. En la parte inferior del bculo (a 800 mm. de su base), y en la parte superior (cercano a la curva), existen dos niples soldados de 3/4" con boquilla de neopreno para entrada y salida de cable. The staff is manufactured in a 2" tube with no welding on it according to DIN 2440 with the dimensions indicated in the enclosed drawing. The staff can be provided in two different lengths as it is used for 20W. or 40W. ligthing. Once the staff is mecanizec it is galvanized by inmersin. Welded to the staff base it carries on a 350x350x10 mm. galvanized steel badge and also four 150x100x6 galvanized steel brackets. In each badge cornes there is a 14 mm. drill that containes a 300 mm. anchor with a M-12 nut and a washer. At 400 mm. from the base, it is included a 150x150x4 galvanized steel badge. The badge can be supplied with a mecanized Rf. 3002-BR box if requested. At the staff bottom (800 mm. from its base) and at the top (near to the curve) two 3/4" welded niple with neoprene protection are placed for cable inlet and outlet.

En el caso de que vaya con caja, a 400 mm. de la base se incluye soldada una placa de acero galvanizado de 150x150x4 en la cual va colocada una caja Rf. 3002-RB EExe mecanizada segn se solicite. En la parte superior del bculo (cercano a la curva), existe un niple soldado de 3/4" con boquilla de neopreno para entrada de cable. Asimismo, cuando se suministra con caja, hay otro niple similar situado por encima de la placa soporte de la caja. En la parte inferior, el bculo incluye un pivote tope de 10x30mm. Junto con este bculo se suministran dos abarcones de 2" de acero galvanizado con tuercas y arandelas. CHARACTERISTICS

Furthermore, when the staff is supplied with box, there is another similar nipple located above the supporting plate. At the bottom of the staff a 10x30 mm. pivot is located. Two 2" galvanized steel fixing stirrups with nut and washer are supplied together with the staff.

RECOMENDACIONES DE ALMACENAMIENTO Y MANTENIMIENTO PARA CAJAS DE DERIVACIN El presente documento tiene como finalidad el dar una serie de recomendaciones para el almacenamiento y mantenimiento de las cajas de derivacin fabricadas por APLEI, S.A., las cuales normalmente contienen un nmero determinado de bornas en su interior y suele ir mecanizadas con entradas en sus laterales. Dichas recomendaciones no tienen la consideracin de instrucciones, siendo nicamente sugerencias del fabricante que secundan la experiencia y los criterios de mantenimiento y seguridad propios existentes en la instalacin. ALMACENAMIENTO Las cajas disponen de entradas, protegidas bie con tapones metlicos o bien con prensas, cuando lo solicita el cliente. El almacenamiento ha de realizarse en lugares cerrados, exentos de humedad, y lejos de reas con excesiva temperatura o luz. No es aconsejable que el almacenamiento se realice a la intemperie ni an en el caso de que se protejan las cajas con lona, plsticos o sistemas similares. Si el almacenamiento va a ser por largo tiempo, se aconseja efectuar una revisin del material al ao aproximadamente que consiste en una inspeccin visual de los siguientes puntos: 1- Comprobacin aspecto exterior (pintura y galvanizado). 2- Comprobar estado de elementos exteriores (ausencia de tornillos de cierre y bulones de bisagras). 3- Comprobacin de las juntas de estanqueidad. Dicha revisin podr hacerse posteriormente con la periodicidad que se estime conveniente, una vez observados los resultados al cabo del primer ao. MANTENIMIENTO El mantenimiento de las cajas variar de manera ostensible segn la ubicacin y las condiciones ambientales en que estn montadas, as como de la experiencia y los criterios propios de mantenimiento y seguridad existentes en la instalacin. Este mantenimiento constar de dos partes bien definidas: inspeccin visual y mantenimiento mecnico. La inspeccin visual para la que en principio no se requiere una desconexin del equipo, consistir en los mismos puntos que los indicados en el apartado de mantenimiento. 104
RECOMMENDATIONS TO STORE AND MAINTAIN JUNCTION BOXES This document purpose is to give a series of recommendations to store and maintain junction boxes manufactures by APLEI, S.A. which usually contains a determinated number of terminals inside and they are usually mechanized with entrances in their sides. These recommendations are not considered instructions; they are only manufacturers suggestions.
STORAGE Junction boxes have entrances which are protected with metal plugs or with cable-glands when the customer request it. The storage must be done in closed places, exempt of humidity and far away from areas with excessive temperature or light. It is not advisable to store outside even though the boxes are protected with sailcloths or plastic.
If the storage is going to last along time it is advisable to do a revision of the material by year which consist of a visual inpection of the following points: 1- Checking the outward appearance (paint and galvanized). 2- Checking the conditions of the exterior elements (absence of closing screws and hinges). 3- Checking the waterproof gaskets. This revision can be done later with the periodicity estimated convenient, with the results have been observed after the first year. MAINTANANCE The maintanance of the boxes will change very much according to the location and the environmental conditions in which they are installed, and also the experience and the criterions of the maintance and security which exists in the intallation. This maintance will have two parts well defined: visual inspection and mechanical and maintain. The visual inspection does not require the disconnection of the equipment.This inspection would consist in the same points which have been indicated in the paragraph of maintanance.

Revisar estado de conservacin de la pintura, dando retoques si fuese necesario con una pintura de calidad similar. Revisin de las juntas de estanqueidad. Estas juntas son el componente de las cajas sujeto al envejecimiento en mayor medida, y puesto que son las que otorgan la estanqueidad de la envolvente, es aconsejable su sustitucin peridica. Las juntas para otorgar estanqueidad, son sometidas cuando se cierra la caja a un estado de comprensin. Debido a esta compresin, la junta sufre un estado de deformacin permanente el cual vara dependiendo de las condiciones ambientales. En condiciones normales, y sin que la envolvente haya sido abierta una vez instalada, las juntas mantienen el grado de proteccin perfectamente durante ocho aos (en el caso de IP65) o cinco aos (en el caso de IP-67). Una vez transcurrido este tiempo se recomienda la sustitucin de las mismas. No obstante, si la envolvente se abre por cualquier motivo antes de estos periodos, es aconsejable tambin el cambio de la junta en ese momento. Por ltimo, caso de que se detecte existencia de grietas o roturas, es necesaria la sustitucin.

Revision of the gaskets seal. These gaskets are the components in which the boxes can age more easily and because this is what gives the boxes is waterproof surrounding, it is adviseable of its periodical replacement. Gaskets are to submit to a status of comprenssion when the boxes are closed, to get the waterproof tightness. Because of this comprenssion the gasket suffers a permanent deformation which changes depending on the environmental conditions.
In normal conditions, if the surrounding has not been opened after installation, the gaskets maintain perfectly the protection during 8 years (in IP-65 case) or 5 years (IP-67 case). When this time is over it is recommended to change or substitution replacement. Anyway if the surrounding has been opened because of any reason before this period, it is recommended the replacement of the gasket. In case of detected fissures, craks or breaking, it must be replaced at that moment.

RECOMENDACIONES DE ALMACENAMIENTO Y MANTENIMIENTO PARA PRENSAESTOPAS El objeto del presente documento es dar una serie de recomendaciones para el almacenamiento y mantenimiento de los prensaestopas fabricados por APLEI, S.A., los cuales pueden suministrarse montados en cajas de derivacin o por separado. ALMACENAMIENTO El almacenamiento cuando los prensas estn montados en cajas, se realizar siguiendo las instrucciones dadas para las cajas de derivacin anteriormente. Cuando los prensa se suministran independientemente de las cajas de derivacin, es aconsejable que el almacenamiento se realice en los embalajes originales, en almacenes cerrados y exentos de humedad, y lejos de zonas con excesiva temperatura o luz. Nunca el almacenamiento ser a la intemperie ni an en el caso de que se proteja el material con lonas, plsticos o sistemas similares. Si el almacenamiento va a ser por largo tiempo se aconseja efectuar una revisin del material aproximadamente al ao del suministro. Esta revisin consistir fundamentalmente en comprobar el estado de las juntas de hermeticidad. Dicha revisin podra hacerse posteriomente con la periodicidad que se estime conveniente, una vez observados los resultados al cabo del ao. MANTENIMIENTO Dada la simplicidad de los prensaestopas como elementos, el mantenimiento de estos se limitar a la sustitucin de las juntas elastomricas cuando por algn motivo haya que manipular el prensa o bien cuando en una inspeccin visual se observe que stas estn claramente deterioradas. La periodicidad del mantenimiento variar de manera ostensible segn la ubicacin y las condiciones ambientales en que estn instalados, aunque aconsejamos que en cualquier manipulacin a realizar a partir de los tres aos de su suministro, se sustituyan las juntas por otras originales.
RECOMMENDATIONS TO STORE AND MAINTAIN CABLEGLANDS This document has a purpose to give a series of recommendations to store and maintain cable-glands manufactured by APLEI, S.A., which can be supplied assembled in the junction boxes or separated. STORAGE The storage, when the cable-glands are assembled in boxes, will be done following the instructions which have been given before with the junction boxes. When the cable-glands are supplied independently of the junction boxes, it is advised that the storage be done in the original packing, in closed storage and exempt of humidity and far from areas with excessive temperature or light.
The storage should never be outside, even though the material is protected with sailcloth or plastics. If the storage is going to be for long periods of time it is advisable to do a revision of the material by year more or less, which consist mainly in checking the condition of the airlight seals. This revision can be done later with the periodicity estimated convenient, when the results have been observed after the first year. MAINTANANCE The maintanance of cable-glands consist in replacing the inner gasket when because of some reason, after a visual inspection, they can become damaged.
The periodicity of the maintanance will change depending of the location and the environmental conditions where they are installed, although it is recommended that after a manipulation which has been done after 3 years of its supplied gasked must be changed by an original.

CONDICIONES DE VENTA, SUMINISTRO Y COMPRA - Las presentes condiciones de venta y suministro sern aplicables a todas las relaciones comerciales entre APLEI, S.A. (vendedor) y sus clientes (comprador). - No se aceptarn pedidos por un importe inferior a 30 Euros. - Slo estos trminos y condiciones regularn las relaciones contractuales entre las partes. Cualquier modificacin de las mismas deber efectuarse por escrito y con previo acuerdo entre las partes. - La informacin que figura en nuestros catlogos, folletos, pgina web, planos, tarifas, ofertas y en general, son siempre a ttulo indicativo, por lo que APLEI, S.A. se reserva el derecho a introducir cualquier modificacin que considere oportuna por necesidades de mercado o fabricacin. - La informacin tcnica que se facilita al comprador es propiedad de APLEI, S.A. quedando prohibida su cesin a terceros sin autorizacin escrita. El comprador por su parte se compromete a tratar con confidencialidad la informacin suministrada por el vendedor. - Slamente se admitirn pedidos enviados por escrito (carta, fax, e-mail cualquier otro medio), pudiendo estos ser unilateralmente anulados por parte de APLEI, S.A. si las circunstancias as lo aconsejasen. - Los pedidos de fabricados especiales para el cliente, y por lo tanto fuera de catlogo, no podrn ser rescindidos por el comprador una vez cursado el pedido de tal modo, que, en su caso, todos los gastos derivados de la no realizacin de la operacin se imputarn al cliente. - Los precios indicados en las tarifas se refieren a los productos, equipos o servicios claramente especificados en ella. Los precios de las ofertas son vlidos solamente para lo detallado en ellas y considerando la totalidad de lo ofertado. - Los precios indicados por el vendedor se entendern EX WORKS, salvo indicacin expresa de otro Incoterm por parte de Aplei, S.A. - Los gastos producidos por modificaciones realizadas por orden del comprador una vez efectuado el pedido, corrern por cuenta de ste. - Los plazos de entrega dados para los pedidos son informativos, de manera que quedan sujetos a posibles cambios de fuerza mayor, o de imposibilidad en el acopio de materias primas,
GENERAL SALES, PURCHASES AND SUPPLY TERMS AND CONDITIONS - These general terms and conditions shall apply to all business transactions between APLEI, S.A. (supplier) and its customers. - Purchase orders worth lower than 30 euros shall not be accepted. - Only these terms and conditions shall govern the contractual relationship between the parties. Amendments and deviations shall only be valid if agreed in writing between the parties.
- APLEI, S.A., considering marker or manufacturing circumstances, shall modified as discretion the information provided with their catalogues, leaflets, websites, tariffs, drawings, etc.
- APLEI, S.A. is the sole owner of all technical documents provided. Customer shall them confidential. Property rights, copyrights and other rights of use shall remain with Aplei and only shall cede these rights by special authorization in writing.
- APLEI, S.A. only shall consider written orders (fax, letters, email, etc) and shall cancel orders considering special circumstances.
- Special orders, considering products not included in catalogues, shall not be cancelled by customers. On the contrary, any expenses incurred shall be imputed to customer.
- The price quoted in Apleis offers makes reference to the products, equipment or services clearly expressed. The price will be valid for items totally and clearly described.
- The price will be meant EXW (Ex works) unless APLEI, S.A. mention any other incoterm.
- Customer shall be entitled to ask for products modifications. In that case, the final price shall be fixed by APLEI, S.A.
- Information about delivery periods shall be non-binding. If APLEI, S.A. is prevented from supplying the goods due to force majeure, shortages of raw materials, transport disruptions, etc,

equipos o servicios externos, que pudieran darse, y en consecuencia no se aceptar ningn tipo de penalidad por retraso en los plazos de entrega salvo que APLEI, S.A. lo indique expresamente por escrito. Asimismo, no es causa de demora en el pago el hecho de que la expedicin del material, su montaje o su puesta en marcha se retrase por motivos ajenos a la voluntad de APLEI, S.A. - Los plazos de entrega comenzarn a contar a partir de la recepcin por parte de APLEI, S.A. del pedido en firme incluyendo, si procediese, la informacin tcnica necesaria por parte del comprador para la fabricacin. Caso de solicitarse por parte del comprador planos de fabricacin para su aprobacin, el plazo de entrega se establecer a partir de la fecha en que APLEI, S.A. reciba por escrito la conformidad de fabricacin de acuerdo con dichos planos por parte del comprador. - El plazo fijado se entiende para la mercanca puesta a disposicin del comprador en las dependencias de APLEI, S.A. bien para su entrega bien para su inspeccin, segn se contemple en el correspondiente pedido. - La entrega de los productos por parte de APLEI, S.A. se d por realizada con el aviso al comprador de su disponibilidad en fbrica. - Salvo indicacin contraria dada por escrito por parte de APLEI, S.A., el envo de los pedidos se efectuar siempre a cargo del comprador y por su cuenta y riesgo, an cuando la mercanca viajase a portes pagados. - Toda la mercanca suministrada por APLEI, S.A. se consignar en depsito hasta su completo pago. - Con objeto de poder reclamar las pertinente responsabilidades, el comprador se compromete a comunicar a APLEI, S.A. en un plazo mximo de 48 horas cualquier anomala o rotura producida durante el transporte, as como a reflejar esta en el correspondiente taln de entrega de la agencia de transportes. - APLEI, S.A. se compromete a subsanar los defectos en sus productos, equipos o servicios originados por fallo de fabricacin durante una ao despus del suministro de ellos, determinndose el sistema mediante comn acuerdo con el comprador y no aceptndose en ningn caso las reparaciones efectuadas por personas ajenas su organizacin. - No se considerarn defectos los ocasionados como consecuencia del desgaste normal por su utilizacin; por almacenamiento, uso o conservacin inapropiados; por montaje defectuoso por parte del comprador; por modificaciones en los productos realizadas sin la expresa autorizacin de APLEI, S.A. 108
it shall not generate any charges. In these events damages claims by customer are excluded and delays shall not be considered as punishable.
- Delivery period shall commence on the date of APLEIs firm order receipt, including, if any, all necessary technical information for manufacturing programs. If APLEI, S.A. ask for further clearances, manufacturing designs or any other technical requirements, delivery period shall be extended until full receipt of these documents and customers approval of the relevant designs.
- Unless otherwise expressed in the order, for place and delivery period it shall consider APLEIs facilities.
- APLEI, S.A. shall fulfill its obligation of delivery giving notice that the goods are ready for shipment at APLEIs facilities.
- Unless in writing agreed goods shall be shipped at customers expense and risk, even in case of prepaid deliveries.
- The goods shall remain the property of APLEI, S.A. until customer has paid all due amount. - In order to determine liabilities, customer shall notify to supplier within 48 hours any damage or lost during transport. Furthermore, customer shall ask the forwarding agent to submit a report without delay.
- APLEI, S.A. shall remedy manufacturing defects detected within one year after delivery. Customer shall give supplier a reasonable deadline within which to remedy the defect or deliver a replacement. APLEI, S.A. shall not be liable for damages caused by repairs carried out beyond APLEIs organization.
- APLEIs liability shall cease in case of improper assembly, installation, storage repair, maintenance, servicing, and normal wear and tear. Also it shall cease in case of modification on the part of customer or third party not expressly allowed by APLEI.

- La responsabilidad mxima de APLEI, S.A. por cualquier reclamacin ocasionada por un pedido, tendr como lmite mximo el precio del producto, equipo o servicio que origine dicha reclamacin, no asumiendo en ningn momento responsabilidades superiores ni el pago de indemnizaciones por cualquier otro dao o perjuicio directo indirecto a personas o cosas. - Para la solucin de cualquier litigio, las partes se sometern a los Jueces y Tribunales de Sevilla, renunciando el comprador al fuero propio. REQUISITOS PARA LA TRAMITACIN DE DEVOLUCIONES - Antes de proceder a ningn tipo de devolucin, es imprescindible poner en conocimiento de APLEI, S.A. la intencin de efectuarla para comprobar que sta es procedente. - En el caso de que se considere procedente, la aceptacin definitiva estar en funcin de los controles de verificacin correspondientes que ha de pasar el material devuelto por parte del Departamento de Calidad. - Con el fn de mantener las ptimas condiciones de comercializacin de nuestros productos, a los materiales que sean objeto de devolucin se les aplicar un demrito del 15%. - No se aceptarn de ninguna manera, la devolucin de productos no normalizados fuera de catlogo y/o tarifa de precios que hayan sido expresamente fabricados bajo una oferta u orden de compra determinada, ni de productos que ya hayan sido objeto de manipulacin o de instalacin. - El material devuelto deber ir acompaado de una fotocopia del albarn original de envo para su correcta identificacin. - El tiempo para notificar la devolucin no deber ser superior a 15 das desde la recepcin del material por parte del cliente, de 30 das desde el envo por parte de APLEI, S.A. En cualquier caso, no se admitirn devoluciones de materiales suministrados en un periodo superior a seis meses. - El material devuelto por parte del cliente deber ser enviado a portes pagados, mientras que en las devoluciones que sean a cargo de APLEI, S.A., ser esta quin indique la agencia de transportes a utilizar. El incumplimiento de esta norma exime a APLEI, S.A. del coste del transporte. - En los casos de devolucin de material, las facturas de abono generadas se compensaran con pedidos de materiales efectuados por el mismo cliente.
- Apleis maximum liability related to an order shall be the total price of the order, not being included additional costs such a compensations, indemnities or damages.
- Any and all disputes between APLEI, S.A. and customer shall be settled by the Courts of Sevilla, Spain, giving up the customer their own jurisdiction. RETURN PROCEDURE - Customer must inform Aplei S.A. in writing (without undue delay) the proposal of return and supplier shall decide if it is justified.
- Apleis Quality Department shall be entitled to practice any verifications. This Department shall decide to initiate the procedure or not.
- Returned goods, in order to maintain its commercial conditions, shall bear a price deduction of 15 %.
- In case of goods manufactured on special request, goods previously installed or manipulated by customer, return shall not be allowed.
- Customer shall send along with goods photocopy of the relevant delivery in order to facilitate a correct identification. - Customer shall notify the proposal of return within 15 days after reception or 30 days after suppliers delivery. Anyway, after 6 months from delivery supplier shall not accept any return.
- Returned goods shall be shipped at customers expense. If Aplei is responsible for delivery, it shall be entitled to determine the forwarding agent, on the contrary it shall not be responsible for customers choice.

A MTRICA - La actual normativa europea aconseja desde hace ms de 3 aos el cambio gradual en el uso de la rosca Pg. en las instalaciones elctricas a la rosca Mtrica, llevando a cabo un programa de actuacin por parte de los fabricantes que permitiera un paso lo menos traumtico posible a todas las partes implicadas. - En Aplei hoy da ya no disponemos de almacn o fabricacin de productos con rosca Pg ,de manera, que toda la gama de nuestros productos esta fabricados roscas mtricas teniendo stock suficientes para atender las demandas de nuestros clientes. - Con el fin de resolver situaciones donde por necesidad expresa del cliente nos fuera demandado alguno de nuestros fabricados con roscas Pg, Aplei podra proceder a su fabricacin previo presupuesto y con carcter especial.
CHANGE FROM PG TO METRIC THREAD - The current European regulation recommended more than 3 years ago the gradual change in the electrical facilities from the use of the Pg thread to the Metric thread, carrying out a program of performance for manufacturers to make the transformation easier for the involved parties.
- Nowadays In Aplei we do not neither stock nor manufacture products with Pg thread. Thus our whole range is manufactured with metric thread, and we have the sufficient stock to meet our customers' demands.
- In situations where there is an express need of the customer Aplei might proceed to manufacture products with Pg thread, with a previous budget and with special character.
