Log on to UCAS and complete four sections of the Application Form: Personal Details; Additional Information; Student Finance; Employment with support from (available) Tutors and other staff

By Friday 12th July

- Decide what you want to study

From Mon 15th July

AJL will be presenting on how to start writing a Personal Statement. Start writing one by the end of term

Over the Summer

Visit universities/towns and do more reading and research. Work on your personal statement Read, Volunteer & get Work Experience

By September 16th
Completed applications for Oxbridge, medicine, vet, dentistry

By October 23rd
All other applications completed

Student Finance application website goes live for 2013 www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance. Applications by May 31st to ensure money is ready for Autumn term.

Students must make a choice about which offer(s) to accept

How does the process work

You have your own log-in Everything is done on-line. Select 5 choices (4 for medicine). You dont need to rank them at this stage. You pay 25 to UCAS before sending. Sending really means sending it to us...we will do a final check before forwarding it to UCAS.
