For a complete BIOS change history, click here. To check your computer's BIOS version from the Windows Start Menu, type HWSetup and press Enter. Change Points: Updated CPU Microcode M12306A9 to version 00000015. Please check the following before updating the BIOS of your PC. Do not power off while the BIOS is being updated. The AC-Adapter must be used during the update process. Power-on passwords must be disabled. Download and Installation Instructions: 1. Save all work in progress and close open applications. 2. Click Download, then click Install. 3. Click Yes to confirm restarting after the installation completes. 4. Click Yes/Continue if a User Account Control Window is displayed. 5. Follow displayed instructions to start the BIOS update. 6. After the update completes, the computer will restart. 7. While the "Toshiba" LOGO is displayed, press the F2 function key to start BIOS Setup. 8. Check the version of BIOS and press the F9 function key then Enter to load setup defaults. 9. Press the F10 function key then Enter to save settings and exit. The computer will automatically reboot.
