1. The purpose of the following project: New century Health Clinic System is to improve

operations, decrease costs, and provide a better service to patients. Some of the benefits include smoother operation, better efficiency, and more user-friendly procedures for patients and New Century staff. Different regulations or business protocols may be adopted which may result in additional required fields on reports or anew layout.

2. To gather data about project usability, costs, benefits, and schedules different techniques are used. I would prefer to analyze the organizational chart and conduct a user survey to perform fact-finding for the clinic. I would get the understanding of the business processes of the clinic and I could decide whom do I inquire to collect the data that I need for the development the new system for the clinic.

4. Develop the system in-house or purchase a vertical package and configure is it to meet New Century Health Clinics needs. As for economic, technical, operational and schedule feasibility both options have their strengths and are both are relatively close in cost with the same savings of $170,661 and productivity gain of 240 hours over 5 years, which are mostly generated from reducing the amount of overtime pay, additional workers wages and improvements in worker efficiency. Though the in-house choice would be my overall recommendation even though its cost of $25,500 is $1,100 greater than a vertical system ($24,400) due to the fact that the system would be tailored to the exact needs of new century health clinic; while a vertical system would cover almost all the basic needs of the system it would still proved difficult for staff to modify report layouts since most of the reports are pre-designed
