Feature of Band Knife 1. Band Knife is endless and looks like a loop. 2. Band Knife is fixed but fabric is moveable. 3. Saw Mill Technique is applied for fabric cutting. 4. Block Pieces of fabric are required to cut. 5. Band Knife are not as popular as straight knife but it is used in special cases. 6. Knife is in band form so it is called band knife cutting machine.

Advantages of Band Knife 1. Suitable to cut very sharp curve. 2. It is used specially. 3. Suitable to cut small parts.
Disadvantages of Band Knife 1. It is not possible to cut fabric directly from lay. 2. Fabric Wastages is high. 3. Workload is High For Safety Concern, operator should always wear metal glove during the whole operation of cutting.
