14 14-11 The Tele fault DSFL is designed to accurately locate faults on high volt- age feeders which consist of unbranched overhead lines that can in- clude short lengths of cable. The system can give extremely useful re- sults on more complicated networks including some branches.
Inexpensive Easy to Operate Precise
The Tele fault DSFL uses the properties of traveling waves initiated by a fault to determine the position of the fault. The preferred location method depends on the measurement of current transients on the secondary of current transformers. This method is applied at points on the system where current transformers are available. When no current transformers are available it may be possible to use different transducers to get suit- able signals from capacitor voltage transformers. TELEFAULT DSFL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FAULT LOCATOR The Tele fault P2000 combines the functions of a high accuracy TDR and a disturbance recorder in a compact and robust portable unit.
The Tele fault P2000 is suitable for all types of low voltage cable faults and especially the difficult and troublesome intermittent fault. It is con- nected simultaneously to all 3 phases of the faulty low voltage cable for triggering/voltage recording and to allow TDR testing on any combina- tion of phases. Remote operation is available via the internal GSM mo- dem. TELE FAULT P2000 - LOW VOLTAGE CABLE FAULT LOCATOR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FAULT LOCATORS
