Obtuvo la titulacin en teologa del seminario INSTE.
Colabora con entidades sociales que luchan por el
bienestar de la gente de la tercera edad, fundaciones
contra el aborto y asociaciones que luchan contra la
fibromialgia. Es poeta y escribe relatos cortos y artculos
para varias revistas comarcales (impresas y digitales). Es
colaborador habitual de Celestial Nor.
Obtained his degree in theology from the seminar INSTE.
Collaborates with various social entities fighting for the
seniorswelfare, foundations against abortion, and
associations fighting fibromyalgia. He is a poet and writes
short stories and articles for various county magazines
(print & digital), regularly he contributes with Celestial Nor.

Estudi comunicacin social, periodismo e historia de la
msica pop; tambin un ao de filosofa. Fue corrector de
textos para una editorial. Es escritor, redactor, poeta,
compositor y letrista. Actualmente trabaja como traductor
general de espaol-ingles y colabora con sus artculos y
poemas para Celestial Nor.
He studied social communication, journalism & pop-
music s history; also a year of philosophy. He is a writer,
poet, writer, composer and musician. He currently Works
as a Spanish-English translator and collaborates with his
poems and articles for the Celestial Nor magazine.
Titulada en comunicacin social y periodismo impreso. Ha
trabajado para directores y agrupaciones teatrales en
Venezuela. Su trabajo en el rea cultural ha sido reconocido
en publicaciones como la revista En Escena y el semanario
Quinto Da. En Barcelona fue representante de prensa y
RRPP del grupo de teatro Abrapalabra y fue colaboradora
en el peridico Mundo Hispano. Coordinadora de Atletas en
Accin de la Iglesia La Via Cuidad Condal y Correctora en
espaol de la revista Celestial Nor.

El Miedo Ms Grande Del Universo

Creo que el mayor de los miedos es el que tenemos
a nosotros mismos, a lo que podemos ser capaces
de llegar a ser o hacer. Es muy duro mirarse en el
espejo y darse cuenta que no eres tan sensacional
como otros creen. Es ms cmodo ponerse una
mscara ante la sociedad.

Tenemos miedo a que nos vean tal como somos,
incluso nos cuesta a nosotros mismos aceptar esa
realidad. Nos tenemos miedo. Miedo a sacar al
exterior nuestro autntico yo con
todas sus consecuencias.

Si la buena gente sacara al
exterior todo lo que son (la
mala gente con frecuencia lo
hace) el mundo sera otro. Y esa es
la sed del mundo; ser aceptados y amados tal
como somos, por eso escondemos lo mejor de
nuestro yo y lo tapamos con un disfraz, convirtiendo
nuestra vida en un permanente carnaval.

El mundo tiene miedo; miedo a una vida sin
apariencias, porque las apariencias nos protegen.
Es demasiado doloroso que descubran que no
somos tan excelentes. El miedo nos hace llevar la
vida de otro, ese personaje que vive la vida por
nosotros.

Entonces el yo escondido suea, porque no le
permitimos salir a la superficie de la realidad, y para
no perder la razn nos dejamos llevar un poco por la
locura, convirtindola en nuestra salvadora.
The Greatest Fear of the Universe

I think the greatest fear is the one we have to
ourselves, we can be able to come to be or
do. It's hard to look in the mirror and realize
you're not as sensational as others believe. Is
more comfortable to wear a mask to society.

We are afraid to see us as we are, even to
ourselves is hard to accept that reality. We
are afraid. Afraid to take out to the exterior
our authentic self with all its consequences.

If the good people will take
out all they are (bad
people often do) the
world would be different.
And that is the thirst of the
world; be accepted and loved
just as we are, thats why we hide the best of
our self and cover it with a costume, making
our life in a permanent carnival.

The world is afraid; afraid of life without
appearances, because appearances protect
us. It is too painful to discover that we are not
so great. Fear makes us take the life of
another, that character who lives the life for
us.

Then the I tucked dreams, because we do not
allow it to go to the surface of reality, and to
not lose the reason we get carried away by a
little madness, making it our savior.

La locura pues nos salva de la dureza de la razn,
esa razn que nos dice que esa persona del espejo
no somos nosotros, sino una caricatura de nosotros,
una ficcin llamada "nuestro yo ante la sociedad" y
nos volvemos un poco locos para no volvernos locos
del todo; porque la razn es muy dura de sobrellevar.

Quin quiere un espejo donde se vean
las almas reflejadas? quin podra
soportar ver el reflejo de esa imagen?
Cuntos monstruos con apariencia de
santidad, cuntos hombres sin
escrpulos con apariencia de bondad,
cuntos mentirosos con apariencia de
honestidad, cuntos malvados con
apariencia de honorabilidad.

El mundo es un circo; los payasos triunfan. Doa
transparencia ha muerto. Ser y hacer lo que eres es
demasiado arriesgado. Es ser un equilibrista sobre la
cuerda floja, una cuerda demasiado delgada. Es la
cuerda de la aceptacin de los dems, porque son
muy pocos los que en verdad te aman tal como eres.

Decir la verdad es ser un trapecista dando el triple
salto mortal, sin red que te salve por si te caes.
Porque en el mundo el puo triunfa ms que el
abrazo; la bofetada le roba al beso la victoria.

As pues, permitidme un poco de locura. No sea que
me vuelva completamente loco por tapar al
verdadero yo que llevo dentro. Ese loco cuerdo. Ese
loco sabio que gustosamente saldra a la superficie
cansado de vivir siempre en las sombras, bajo las
cadenas del miedo. El miedo ms grande del
universo: el miedo a nosotros mismos; el miedo a la
opinin que tengan de nosotros.
The craziness saves us from the harshness
of the reason, that reason tells us that the
person in the mirror is not us, but a
caricature of us, a fiction called "our self to
society" and we get a little crazy so we do
not go crazy at all; because the reason is
very hard to bear.

Who wants to see a mirror that reflects
souls? Who could bear to see the
reflection of that image? How many
monsters with appearance of holiness,
how many men without scruples with
appearance of goodness, how many liars
with appearance of honesty, how many
wicked with appearance of honorability.

The world is a circus; clowns succeed. Mrs.
transparency has died. Being and doing what
you are is too risky. Is to be a tightrope
walker above the thin cord. The rope is the
acceptance from the others, because there
are very few who really love you as you are.

Telling the truth is to be a trapeze artist
giving the triple somersault, without a net to
save you if you fall. Because in the world the
fist triumphs rather than the arm; the slap
steals the kiss of victory.

So allow me a little madness. So I dont
become completely crazy for covering the
real me I carry inside. That crazy sane. Mad
wise who gladly surface tired of always living
in the shadows, under the chains of fear.
Fear of the larger universe: fear of ourselves;
fear of the opinion of others about us.

Quin nos separar del amor de Cristo?
Tribulacin, angustia, persecucin, hambre,
desnudez, peligro o espada? Romanos 8:35.

Sola tener dificultades para entender este pasaje
porque no cuadraba con la realidad de mi vida; ni
tampoco con lo que vea en la vida de muchos otros
que compartan la experiencia cristiana conmigo.

Cmo poda Pablo hablar de que nada nos
puede separar del amor de Dios?

Me preguntaba, si a diario veo que hay infinidad
de situaciones que compiten con nuestro amor
por Cristo? Cada una de ellas no solamente pugna
con nuestro deseo de seguirlo a l sino que, en
ocasiones, han conseguido alejarnos por completo
de los caminos que el Seor ha trazado para
nuestra vida.

El problema con esa interpretacin es que yo estaba
mirando este versculo con una ptica errada,
centrado en nuestra devocin hacia Dios.

Mi error revela qu tan profundamente arraigado
est en nosotros el creer que somos los
protagonistas de la vida espiritual.

En el fondo creemos que es nuestra actividad la que
mantiene vigorosa y viva nuestra relacin con el
Altsimo. Mis dificultades desaparecieron cuando
pude entender que Pablo no est hablando aqu del
amor frgil y fluctuante que nosotros tenemos por
Dios, sino del amor que el Padre tiene por nosotros.

Es interesante notar que todos los trminos que
escoge Pablo como posibles provocadores de esta
separacin con el amor divino hacen referencia a
experiencias relacionadas con el sufrimiento. Medite
en ellas por un momento:

Tribulacin, angustia, persecucin, hambre,
desnudez, peligro y espada.

Cada uno de esos elementos tiene que ver con
situaciones donde experimentamos angustias
personales con una intensidad difcil de sobrellevar.

Who shall separate us from the love of
Christ? Tribulation, distress, persecution,
famine, nakedness, danger or sword?
Romans 8:35.

I used to have difficulty understanding this
passage because it did not fit with the reality
of my life; nor with what he saw in the lives of
many others who shared with me the
Christian experience.

How could Paul mention that nothing can
separate us from the love of God?

I wondered, what if every day I see that there
are plenty of situations that compete with our
love for Christ? Each of them not only
conflict with our desire to follow Him but, at
times, have gotten completely away from the
ways that the Lord has set for our lives.

The problem with this interpretation is that I
was looking at this verse with flawed optics,
focusing on our devotion to God.

My mistake reveals how deeply ingrained in
us the belief that we are the protagonists of
the spiritual life.

Deep inside we believe that our activity
maintains strong and alive our relationship
with the Almighty. My difficulties disappeared
when I could understand that Paul is not
speaking here of the fragile and fluctuating
love we have for God, but the love our Father
has for us.

Is interesting to notice that all the terms Paul
chooses as potential triggers of this
separation with the divine love, makes
reference to experiences with suffering.
Meditate in them for a moment:

Tribulation, distress, persecution, famine,
nakedness, danger and sword.

Each of these elements has to do with
situations where we experience personal
distress with an intensity hard to bear.

Por qu escogi el apstol estas experiencias en
particular? La reaccin casi universal de muchos
cristianos en medio del sufrimiento, sea cual sea
su origen, es creer que Dios los ha abandonado;
que se ha olvidado de ellos.

Geden dijo: Ah, Seor mo, si Jehov est con
nosotros, por qu nos ha sobrevenido todo esto?
Dnde estn todas esas maravillas que nuestros
padres nos han contado? No nos sac Jehov de
Egipto? Y ahora Jehov nos ha desamparado y nos
ha entregado en manos de los madianitas.
Jueces. 6:13.

Dijeron a Moiss: No haba sepulcros en Egipto,
que nos has sacado para que muramos en el
desierto? Por qu nos has hecho esto? Por qu
nos has sacado de Egipto? Ya te lo decamos
cuando estbamos en Egipto: Djanos servir a los
egipcios, porque mejor nos es servir a los egipcios
que morir en el desierto.
xodos 14:11-12.

David dijo: Por qu te has olvidado de m?
Salmo 42:9.

Es en tiempos de crisis y angustia que nos
sentimos especialmente tentados a cuestionar la
existencia del amor de Dios hacia nosotros.

El apstol afirma que no hay cosa creada, ni
experiencia vivida que pueda hacer cesar el amor de
Dios por nosotros. Usted y yo podremos, quizs,
sentir que l no est con nosotros en tiempos de
angustia. Pero quin de nosotros tiene sentimientos
que nos dicen la verdad? Lo que declara aqu Pablo
es una de las verdades centrales sobre la cual est
fundada la vida espiritual.

La persona que experimenta la vida victoriosa, en
todas sus dimensiones, es aquella que no duda
del amor de Dios; an cuando se encuentre de
cara a la muerte. Tiene una certeza inamovible de
que el amor de Dios por nosotros es insistente,
incansable, perseverante, es un hecho tan real
como la existencia de los cielos y la tierra.

Por lo cual estoy seguro de que ni la muerte ni la
vida, ni ngeles ni principados ni potestades, ni lo
presente, ni lo por venir, ni lo alto ni lo profundo, ni
ninguna otra cosa creada nos podr separar del
amor de Dios, que es en Cristo Jess, Seor nuestro
Romanos 8:3839.
Why the Apostle chose these particular
experiences? The almost universal reaction
of many Christians in suffering, whatever its
origin, is to believe that God has abandoned
them; that has forgotten them.

Gideon said: Oh, my Lord, if Jehovah is with
us, why has all this happened to us? Where
are all the wonders that our fathers told us?
Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?
And now the Lord has forsaken us and
delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
Judges. 6:13.

They said to Moses: There were no graves in
Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the
desert? Why have you done this? Why we
are taken out of Egypt? We say it when we
were in Egypt: Let us serve the Egyptians,
because it is better for us to serve the
Egyptians than to die in the desert.
Exodus 14:11-12.

David said: Why have you forgotten me?
Psalm 42:9.

It is in times of crisis and distress that we are
especially tempted to question the existence
of God's love for us.

The apostle affirms that there is no creature,
nor lived experience that can bring an end to
the love of God for us. You and I may,
perhaps, feel that He is with us in times of
distress. But who among us has feelings
that tell us the truth? What Paul says here is
one of the central truths which is founded on
the spiritual life.

The person experiencing the victorious life in
all its dimensions, is one that does no doubt
of God's love; even when facing death. It has
an unshakable certainty that God's love for
us is persistent, tireless, persistent, is a fact
as real as the existence of heaven and earth.

For I am convinced that neither death nor
life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come, nor
height nor depth, nor any other creature can
separate us from the love of God, which is in
Christ Jesus our Lord
Romans 8:38-39.

Por Leonor S.

Nacido en Sabinigo, Huesca. En
la actualidad vive en Murcia. Pinta
retratos, monumentos, paisajes y
trenes que ha expuesto en Espaa
y Amrica Latina. Debido a una
experiencia de carcter espiritual
empez a desarrollar la pintura escatolgica.

Celestial Nor: Cmo se dio cuenta
de su talento y pasin por la pintura
y donde la desarroll?
Jess Cerro Casado: Comenc de
nio a interesarme por el dibujo y fui
destacando en esa rea. A la edad de
14 15 aos, cayeron en mis manos
una caja de pinturas al pastel y en la
hora de la siesta me dediqu a dibujar en
las paredes del saln de mi casa.
Imaginaros la sorpresa y reaccin de mis
padres. A partir de entonces me interes
ms por la pintura que por terminar mis
estudios. Inici un camino autodidacta;
comenc mi singladura como pintor.
Tendra unos 16 17 aos cuando hice
mi primera exposicin. Despus de
acabar el servicio militar me establec en
Barcelona donde desarroll la tcnica del
retrato en las famosas Ramblas de esa
ciudad.

CN: Cules tcnicas artsticas
utiliza?
JCC: Principalmente utilizo el
pastel, el leo, los acrlicos y la
tinta china, en blanco y negro o
con colores.

CN: Se dedica a diario a pintar
retratos en el paseo de la playa
y plazas. Puede contarnos
alguna experiencia que le
hiciera reflexionar sobre la
vida o que le impactara?

Born in Sabinigo, Huesca.

portraits, monuments, landscapes
and trains has exhibited in Spain
and Latin America. Because of a
spiritual experience began
developing eschatological painting.

Celestial Nor: How you realized
your talent and passion for
painting & where it developed?
Cerro Jesus Casado: I started
as a child, became interested in
drawing and excel in that area. At
the age of 14 or 15 years old, a
box of pastels fell into my hands,
and in the nap time I started to
draw on the walls of my living room.
Imagine the surprise and reaction of
my parents. From then on I became
more interested in painting than
finishing my studies. I started the
way as self-taught; started my
voyage as a painter. I was about 16
or 17 years old when I did my first
exhibition. After finishing military
service I settled in Barcelona where
I developed the art of portraiture in
the famous Ramblas of that city.

CN: Which artistic
techniques you use?
JCC: Primarily pastel, oil,
acrylic and ink, in black
and white or with colors.

CN: Daily you dedicate
to paint portraits on the
to the beach side-walk
and squares. Can you
tell us some experience
made you reflect on life
or it impacted you?

pintando paisajes urbanos. Pintando un
rincn murciano (Arco de Santo
Domingo) un lugar muy simblico para
mi. All conoc el autntico evangelio de
boca de unos misioneros. En ese
momento experiment como nunca
antes en mi vida el arrepentimiento y un
encuentro personal con Jess. Dios
utiliz a esas personas y a otros
colegas pintores que tambin me daban testimonio
de lo que significaba entrar por la puerta
representada en aquel arco, que pintaba con tanta
inspiracin. Comprend lo que Jess dijo en
el evangelio de Juan: Yo soy la puerta; el
que por m entrare, ser salvo.

CN: Puede contarnos las historias y
significados detrs de algunos de sus
cuadros?
JCC: Retratando al natural, se produce un
contacto intuitivo entre el modelo y el
dibujante. Se entrecruzan miradas y
sensaciones en un lenguaje intuitivo y sin
palabras, con la recompensa que al final
tanto el retratado como el pintor se han de
satisfacer al terminar la obra. Por supuesto
que el que posa es el que ms
satisfecho ha de quedar. Con cada
retrato he tenido ocasin de testificar a
muchsimas personas.
En algunas de mis pinturas
geomtricas o surrealistas trato de
colocar ciertos significados simblicos
con relacin a un tema que siempre
me fascin, como es el de plasmar
imaginativamente como sera la
Ciudad, la Nueva Jerusaln, descrita
en la Biblia.

CN: De dnde surge el inters por
pintar ferrocarriles antiguos?
JCC: Surge de mis viajes de nio por
distintos lugares de la geografa espaola.
En aquellos trenes de vapor, con sus
coches de pasajeros de poca, las
estaciones nostlgicas ya desaparecida.
Pinto lo que ya se ha perdido, lo que no se
puede recapturar. Son trenes llenos de
nostalgia. Pero entre todos los trenes, el
nico que no se nos puede escapar es el
tren de la vida. As titulo una de mis
colecciones de cuadros que es itinerante.
Suelo acompaar con mensajes que llevan
a la reflexin de la vida y a la esperanza.
JCC: The greatest experience
was painting urban escapes.
Painting a Murcias corner (Arc
de Santo Domingo) a very
symbolic place for me. There I
met the real gospel from the
missionaries mouths. At that
moment I experienced as never
before in my life repentance
and a personal encounter with
Jesus. God used these people and other fellow
painters who also testified to me what it meant
"through the door" represented at that arch, that
I painted with so much inspiration. I
understood what Jesus said in the
Gospel of John:
"I am the door: by me will be saved."

CN: Can you tell us the stories and
meanings behind some of your
paintings?
JCC: Portraying the natural, intuitive
contact occurs between model and
artist. Looks and feelings intersect in
an intuitive language without words,
with the satisfying reward in the end
for both the client and painter. Of
course the one posing is who
has to be more satisfied. With
each portrait I had the occasion
to witness to so many people.
In some of my surreal or
geometric paintings I try to put
certain symbolic meanings in
relation to a subject that has
always fascinated me, as to
imaginatively capture how it will
be the city, the New Jerusalem
described in the Bible.

CN: From where it emerges
the interest to paint antique
railways?
JCC: Surge from my child trips to
different places of the Spanish
territory. In those steam trains, with
their vintage passenger cars, nostalgic
and missing stations. I paint what has
been lost, which cant be recaptured.
Trains are full of nostalgia. But among
all the trains, the only one we can not
escape is the "Train of Life". As title of
one of my paint collections. Usually
accompany with messages that lead
to reflection of life and hope.

CN: Crea pinturas escatolgicas
Qu significado tienen? Por qu
utiliza este estilo? y Qu mensaje
quiere transmitir?
JCC: Las pinturas escatolgicas son
imgenes descriptivas para entender el
futuro proftico de la Biblia. Habra que
definir el cuadro en cuestin. Por
ejemplo he pintado el Ro de la Vida
que se encuentra en la Ciudad de Dios,
descrita en Apocalipsis:21-22. Quiero
transmitir al espectador, esperanza,
como apercibirse y prepararse para lo
que nos puede acontecer.

CN: Cul es esa experiencia de
carcter espiritual que le dio un giro
a su vida?
JCC: Fue en mi juventud a los 18 aos cuando me
encontraba sin f y con cierta frustracin. Al recibir a
Cristo y tener un encuentro personal, con l
experiment el gozo, la paz y el amor que Cristo nos
ofrece. Mi vida se transform.

CN: Qu es la Trinidad para usted?
JCC: Jess declar: Yo y el Padre somos uno (Juan
10:30). Creo en Dios Padre, Dios Hijo y Dios Espritu
Santo, como lo ensea la Biblia (Mateo 28:19; 1 de
Juan 5:7; Isaas 6:3). Santo, Santo, Santo tres veces
santo refirindose a Jehov. Creo que Jesucristo es
mi Seor y mi Gran Dios
Salvador y mi Creador.
Todas las cosas por l
fueron hechas.
Doblemente es mi
Creador, primero porque
me dio la vida y segundo
porque en la vida que me
dio, me rescat cuando
andaba descarriado y
me hizo, por as decirlo,
una nueva creacin

CN: You create
eschatological paintings.
Whats the meaning? Why you
use this style? & what
message you want to convey?
JCC: Eschatological paintings
are descriptive images to
understand the Bible's prophetic
future. Should define the paint in
question. For example I have
painted the "River of Life"
located in the City of God,
described in Revelations:21-22.
I want to convey to the viewer,
hope, as apperceiving and
preparing for what may happen
to us.

CN: What is the experience of a spiritual
nature that gave a twist to your life?
JCC: It was in my youth at age 18 when I was
without faith and with some frustration. By
receiving Christ and having a personal encounter
with Him I experienced the joy, peace and love
that Christ offers us. My life was transformed.
CN: What is the Trinity for you?
JCC: Jesus said: I and the Father are one
(John 10:30). I believe in God the Father,
God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, as
taught in the Bible (Matthew 28:19, 1 John
5:7, Isaiah 6:3). Holy, Holy, Holy referring
thrice holy Jehovah. I believe Jesus Christ is
my Lord and Savior and Great God my
Creator. All things were made by Him. Twice
as my Creator, first because He gave me life
and second because in the life He gave me,
He rescued me when I was wayward and
made me as a new creation (John 1:1-3).

Do-minaba el mundo el imperio romano, con sus
virtudes y sus desmanes del poder, cuando Jess
vino al mundo. l haba salido del seno del Padre
para venir a cumplir una misin muy importante: la
redencin de la Humanidad. (Juan 16:5)

Re-gistrado qued que naci en Beln, en un
pesebre, junto a Mara y Jos, con eso nos quiso dar
una gran leccin de humildad y de sencillez, porque
pudo haber nacido en un Palacio, o en un castillo,
siendo Dios, pero no fue as. (Lucas 2:6-7)

Mi-sin suya fue pasarse la vida haciendo el bien:
curando a los enfermos, sanando a los leprosos,
devolvindole la vista a los ciegos, liberando a los
cautivos, dndole la mano a todo aquel que
necesitara de l. (Juan 20:30-31)

Fa-miliar suyo, primo, fue Juan el Bautista, que vino
antes que l para prepararle el camino al Seor, para
que el pueblo estuviera preparado, porque as lo
haba dispuesto Dios en su maravilloso plan de
Salvacin y redencin. (Lucas 3:3-6)

Sol-o tuvo que sufrir y morir, en una cruz, como si
hubiera sido un criminal, un delincuente, por cada
uno de nosotros, por la salvacin de cada hombre y
cada mujer de este mundo; estando en esa cruz, l
mismo carg con los pecados de la Humanidad.

La Palabra de Dios la llev a cada pueblo, a cada

Do-minated was the world by the Roman empire,
with its virtues and excesses of power, when
Jesus came into the world. He had left the
bosom of the Father to come to play a very
important mission: the redemption of humanity.
(John 16:5)

Re-gistered was He born in Bethlehem, in a
manger, with Mary and Joseph, with that he
wanted to give us a lesson in humility and
simplicity, because He could have been born in a
palace or a castle, being God, but it was not like
that. (Luke 2:6-7)

Mi-ssion was to spend his life doing good:
healing the sick, healing the lepers, restoring
sight to the blind, releasing the captives,
extending a hand to everyone who needed Him.
(John 20:30-31)

Fa-mily, cousin, was of John the Baptist, who
came before him to prepare the way for the Lord,
so that the people would be ready, because that
is how God had arranged it in his wonderful plan
of salvation and redemption. (Luke 3:3 -6)

Sol-o = Alone had to suffer and die on a cross,
as if he were a criminal, a delinquent, for each of
us, for the salvation of every man and woman in
this world; while on that cross, He carried the

se equivoc; si alguien pens que l vena a liberar al
pueblo de Israel del dominio y del yugo del imperio
romano, se equivoc tambin; porque l vino al
mundo a dar su vida por el perdn de los pecados,
por cada hombre y cada mujer de la tierra. Vino a
redimirnos con la fuerza del amor y con el poder de
su sangre derramada. Porque sin derramamiento de
sangre, no hay remisin de pecados. Dios busc y no
pudo encontrar una vctima ms perfecta y ms
idnea que su Hijo, Jess, y estuvo dispuesto a darlo,
sin escatimar, para Salvar a las almas humanas de la

se vali de la fuerza ms sutil, pero a la vez, la ms
poderosa de este mundo, que es el amor. De las tres
virtudes teologales: f, esperanza y amor, todas son
importantes, pero cuando todo haya pasado, cuando
todo haya concluido, la que permanecer de las tres
ser el amor. Porque sa es la naturaleza misma de
Dios, Dios es amor. (1era carta de Juan 4:16-18)

Re-sucit despus de padecer y morir en una cruz, y
as, luego de haber derramado su sangre preciosa y
poderosa, luego de haber vencido al pecado y la
muerte, Dios lo levant de entre los muertos, porque
l siempre fue fiel a la Palabra, al reino de Dios,

concordancia y armona entre lo que pensaba, lo que
deca y lo que haca. (Mateo 28:1-10)

Mi-sin que le haba sido encomendada fue cumplida
en su totalidad, porque dio su vida, sin reservas, por
todos nosotros y ahora est sentado a la derecha del
Padre, intercediendo por nosotros. Y volvi a donde
tena que regresar, de donde es l, del seno del
Padre, porque l y el Padre son uno. (Juan 16:17-33)
Si = If anyone thought He was going to save his
own life, was wrong; if someone thought He was
coming to liberate the Israelites from the yoke of
the Roman Empire, was also wrong; because He
came to earth to give his life for the forgiveness of
sins, for every man and woman on earth. He
came to redeem us with the strength of love and
the power of His shed blood. Without the shedding
of blood there is no remission of sins. God looked
and could not find a victim more suitable and
perfect than His Son, Jesus, and was willing to
give it, without sparing, to save human souls from
the wages of sin, which is death. (Romans 8:10)

Do-mined the world and won with the strength of
love, He used force more subtle, yet, the most
powerful of this world, which is love. Of the three
theological virtues: faith, hope and love, all are
important, but when it's all over, when everything
has finish, on will stay of the three, it will be love.
Because that's the nature of God, God is love.
(1st Letter of John 4:16-18)

Re-surected after suffering and dying on a cross,
and so, after having shed his precious and
powerful blood, then having conquered sin and
death, God raised him from the dead, because He
was always faithful to the Word, the kingdom of
God, to his principles, there was always
agreement and harmony between what He
thought, said and did. (Matthew 28:1-10)

Mi-ssion had been entrusted, it was fully enforced,
because he gave his life, without reservation, for
all of us and now sits at the right hand of the
Father, interceding for us. And he had to get back
to where, where is He, the Father's heart, because
He and the Father are one. (John 16:17-33)

LA CRISIS DEL JUSTO

Cuando pens para saber esto, fue duro trabajo
para m, hasta que, entrando en el santuario de
Dios, comprend el fin de ellos. Salmo 73:1617.

El salmista estaba hundido en una crisis de f que,
seguramente, tambin ha tocado nuestras vidas en
algn momento de nuestro peregrinaje. Quizs su
depresin vino en momentos de una prueba
intensa en su vida espiritual. Quizs se vio envuelto
en alguna experiencia de sufrimiento y persecucin,
producto de su deseo de honrar a Dios.

El hecho es que, fueran cuales fueran sus
circunstancias personales, mir hacia la vida de los
impos y vio que era mucho ms placentera y fcil
que la de los justos. Los impos no solamente son
prsperos, sino que no hay congojas en su muerte.
Su vigor es permanente y no tienen que esforzarse ni
trabajar duro toda la vida, como lo hacen la mayora
de los mortales.

Con una facilidad que tiene sabor a burla:
Logran con creces los antojos del corazn (Sal.
73:7). Como si esto fuera poco, tambin se mueven
por la vida con una arrogancia intolerable, haciendo
alarde de su situacin y despreciando a los que
luchan da a da por subsistir.

Cmo no iba el salmista a entrar en crisis? Cuanto
ms meditaba este asunto, ms indignacin senta.
Para qu tanto esfuerzo y tanta fidelidad, si estos
otros logran una posicin mucho ms cmoda sin
pasar por toda la angustia de los que intentan vivir
vidas rectas y justas?
THE CRISIS OF THE FAIR

When I thought to know this, it was too hard
for me, until entering the sanctuary of God,
I understood their end. Psalm 73:16-17.

The psalmist was plunged into a crisis of faith
that surely has also touched our lives at some
point in our journey. Perhaps his depression
came at a time of intense testing in his
spiritual life. Perhaps he was involved in an
experience of suffering and persecution, the
product of his desire to honor God.

The fact is that, whatever their personal
circumstances, looked at the life of the
wicked and saw that it was much more
pleasant and easier than that of the
righteous. The wicked are not only
prosperous, but no pangs in their death. Its
effect is permanent and not have to work and
work hard all their lives, as most mortals do.

With an ease that tastes like mockery: They
manage more than heart could wish (Ps.
73:7). As if this were not enough, they also
move through life with intolerable arrogance,
boasting of their situation and despising those
who struggle every day to survive.

How could the psalmist not enter into crisis?
The more he pondered the matter, more
outrage he felt. Why so much effort and
faithfulness, if these others achieve a more
comfortable position without going through
all the trouble of trying to live a righteous

Verdaderamente en vano he limpiado mi corazn
y he lavado mis manos en inocencia! (Sal. 73:13).

Seguramente, en algn momento, hemos luchado
con sentimientos similares. En muchas ocasiones
pareciera que no estamos logrando nada con
nuestra devocin. Pasamos por los mismos
tormentos y dolores que los impos; sufrimos las
mismas flaquezas y cometemos los mismos
errores. Nuestros esfuerzos por honrar al Seor
parecen no hacer ms que aadir complicaciones
a nuestras vidas. Nuestra honestidad es
condenada por los dems. Nuestra santidad es
objeto de burlas. Nuestro compromiso con el
servicio est envuelto por reproches e ingratitud.
Quin de nosotros no se ha sentido tentado, a
tirar la toalla?

La respuesta a nuestras dudas no se encuentra en la
observacin ni en el anlisis de la realidad que nos
rodea. Al contrario, al igual que el salmista, cunto
ms lo pensamos ms injusta nos va a parecer la vida
que nos ha tocado.

El salmista nos muestra el camino a seguir: entr al
santuario de Dios. All, en la presencia del Seor,
entendi que su perspectiva estaba seriamente
limitada por su condicin de humano. Dios lo llev
a otro plano, el plano de las cosas eternas.
Nuestras vidas no estn limitadas a nuestro fugaz
paso por esta tierra. Fue en ese momento que el
salmista pudo entender el fin de ellos y vio cun
cerca estaba de una decisin fatal. Por esta razn
exclam, con gratitud:

Casi se deslizaron mis pies; por poco resbalaron
mis pasos (Sal. 73:2). El Seor lo hizo volver del
abismo. El salmo nos deja un importante principio. Los
dilemas, las dudas y las angustias de esta vida se
resuelven en presencia del Altsimo. No se demore
en buscar, como primera opcin, Su rostro!
and fair life? Completely frustrated, said:
Surely in vain I have cleansed my heart and
washed my hands in innocence! (Ps. 73:13).

Surely, at some point, we have struggled
with similar feelings. Many times it seems
that we are not getting anywhere with our
devotion. We went through the same
torments and pains that the wicked suffer
the same weaknesses and make the same
mistakes. Our efforts to honor the Lord
seem to do more than add complications to
our lives. Our honesty is condemned by
others. Our holiness is mocked. Our
commitment to service is enveloped by
reproaches and ingratitude. Who among us
has not been tempted to throw in the towel?

The answer to our question is not found in the
observation or the analysis of the reality around
us. Instead, like the psalmist, the more we think
the more our life will seem more.

The psalmist shows us the way forward:
entered the sanctuary of God. There, in the
presence of God, understood that his
perspective was severely limited by his
human condition. God took him to another
plane, the place of eternal things. Our lives
are not limited to our short time in this
earth. It was then that David could understand
"their end" and saw how close he was of a fatal
decision. Therefore he cried with gratitude:

steps (Ps. 73:2). The Lord brought him back
from the abyss. Psalm leaves us an important

Gnesis 2:7-9. Describe como mucho antes de
crear al Hombre, Dios se haba dedicado a hacer de
la Tierra un lugar hermoso y habitable. Haba creado
y esparcido por el universo el hidrgeno y el
oxgeno. Haba fusionado estos dos elementos para
formar un maravilloso y vital lquido; H2O, el agua.
Haba creado las estrellas, galaxias, va lctea,
cometas, planetas y satlites; nuestro sistema solar,
con sus planetas y sus respectivos satlites.

Haba creado tambin la hermosa luna para que
acompaara siempre a la Tierra. Haba creado
adems la msica, la danza y la poesa para que
acompaaran siempre al humano en sus alegras y
en sus tristezas, en los sostenidos y los bemoles de
la vida. Haba creado las plantas y los animales.
Haba hecho el sol para que nutriera a la Tierra y a
todos los seres vivos con su energa y su calor.

Pero hubo un momento cuando Dios se dio cuenta
de la fragilidad de la Tierra, de lo delicada que es,
de su vulnerabilidad ante ese gigante gaseoso,
llamado el sol. Entonces Dios pens rpidamente
en una solucin eterna y cre una gran
capa protectora formada por partculas
de ozono; O3, oxgeno triatmico,
para que absorbiera siempre la
mayor parte de las letales
radiaciones provenientes del sol y del
espacio exterior. Dios coloc esta
maravillosa capa en la atmsfera de la
Tierra, a modo de escudo protector.

Genesis 2:7-9. Describe how long before
creating man, God had dedicated to make the
Earth a beautiful and livable place. Created
and spread around the universe hydrogen
and oxygen. Merged these two elements into
a wonderful and vital liquid, H2O, water. He
created the stars, galaxies, Milky Way,
comets, planets and satellites; the solar
system with its planets and its satellites.

Also created the beautiful moon to always
accompany the Earth. In addition He created
music, dance and poetry to always
accompany the human in its joys and
sorrows, in the sharps and flats of life. He
created the plants and animals. He had made
the sun to nurtured the earth and all living
things with his energy and heat.

But there was a moment when God realized
the fragility of the Earth, on how delicate, it is,

Muchsimo tiempo despus, luego de la Revolucin
Industrial y con el crecimiento de la poblacin
mundial, con el transcurrir del siglo XX y de los
primeros aos del siglo XXI, el humano ya le ha
hecho grandes agujeros a esa capa protectora y
contina destruyndola, poco a poco y paso a paso.

El humano, impulsado por la irracionalidad, por la
irresponsabilidad, por los intereses econmicos de
algunos grupos y lites, por el egosmo, por la falta
de amor, por la falta de respeto por su propia vida y
por cada forma de vida de este planeta y por las
generaciones futuras, el humano contina
destruyendo esa capa maravillosa.

La Tierra pareciera estar
respondiendo ante tantos maltratos.
Recuerdo que haba una profesora
de Ciencias de la Tierra, que nos deca:

Yo nunca he visto alguna ballena lanzando
petrleo a los mares y ocanos, nunca he visto
que alguna criatura de la naturaleza fabrique
qumicos que destruyan la capa de ozono,
solamente el humano.

Eso es muy cierto, las dems criaturas no hacen sino
conservar el medio ambiente donde viven. Porque
saben, de alguna forma, que destruirlo es acabar con
ellos mismos.

Por fortuna, existe un remedio para esta locura
destructora: debe el Humano enamorarse de la vida,
enamorarse de verdad de la Tierra, reconocerla
como madre y hacer todo lo posible por no abrirle
ms agujeros a la capa que la protege, valorar lo que
Dios nos ha dado, que es muestra de Su prevencin,
de lo minucioso y detallista que es; que es muestra
de un amor sin lmites y de su amor ilimitado. 1 de
Juan 4:7-8 y 16.

Este joven de 28 aos es el director
nacional de Christian Surfers Espaa
(CSE) desde 2011 y surfista oficial
desde poco ms de esa fecha.
Introducido por un amigo, empez en
este deporte de alta exigencia en
Barcelona, ya entrado en los veinte.
Como todo aquel que lo haya
practicado sabe, una vez picado el
anzuelo muy difcilmente se puede
soltar, por lo que Marc no lo pens dos
veces. Se compr los equipos y
comenz a otear el mar.
Paradjicamente, era la primera vez
que practicaba disciplina fsica alguna.
Brenda Berrocal: Cmo llegas a
Christian Surfers (CS)?
Marc Pradales: A travs del campamento de verano
La industria de arte, msica y surf. El instructor, un
misionero australiano llamado Shane Sparks,
trabajaba con CS Internacional (CSI). A raz de ese
contacto, que se prolong por tres meses,
organizamos un encuentro en noviembre de 2008,
en Gijn. All se explic acerca del ministerio y
decidimos establecerlo. Pero no es hasta octubre de
2010, cuando se hizo la primera Conferencia
Nacional (CF) en la ciudad condal que da el
golpetazo de salida formal al ministerio:
Todas las sedes tienen el mismo tiempo de
fundado. Aunque el grupo cataln fue puntal, porque
ya desde los aos 90 se haba instalado aqu el
fabricante de tablas brasileo, Hiucif Rahim. Fue l
quien realmente sembr la semilla en esa ciudad
donde, en la actualidad, somos unos quince. Ahora
bien, en la ltima CF fuimos unas sesenta personas
de todo el pas. Pero esas fueron las que asistieron.
Ya podemos hablar de una media de ochenta
creyentes involucrados, explica Pradales.

Sin embargo, no es hasta 2011 que es nombrado
responsable nacional de CSE:
En mayo har dos aos. Antes, cada zona;
Euskadi, Valencia, Andaluca, Asturias, Tenerife,
Catalua- empez con grupos. Ahora tienen un
responsable y un plan de trabajo que deriva de uno

This young man of 28 years old is
the national director of Christian
Surfers Spain (CSE) since 2011
and "official" surfer from a little over
that time.

Introduced by a friend, he started in
this highly demanding sport in
Barcelona, entering his twentieth.
As anyone knows, those who has
practiced once, can hardly drop the
bait, Marc did not think twice. He
bought the equipment and started
to scan the sea. Paradoxically, it
was the first time he practiced any
physical discipline.

Berrocal Brenda: How do you get
to Christian Surfers (CS)?
Pradales Marc: Through the summer camp The
Industry art, music and surfing. The instructor, an
Australian missionary named Shane Sparks,
worked with CS International (CSI). Following
this contact, which lasted three months, we
organized a meeting in November 2008, in Gijn.
They explained about the ministry and decided to

lleva ya treinta aos de existencia, todo es hecho en
Espaa. Incluso las finanzas y la coordinacin de los
directores regionales se han adaptado a nosotros.

BB: Qu actividades realizan?
MP: La idea es que cuando haya olas, por lo menos
un surfista cristiano est en la playa. Como grupo,
mnimo una vez al mes tendramos que andar
juntos. Y, anualmente deberamos hacer una
escapada, una especie de retiro, para surfear varios
das y poder convivir con aquellos con quienes se
haya contactado en cada salida.

BB: Cmo es el mundo del surf laico?
MP: Es bien egosta. Ests en el agua y vas a tu
rollo. Es muy individualista. El que se dedica a esto
forma parte de una cultura. Viaja mucho. Anda solo.
Tiene bastante mente abierta, pero a la vez es
bastante competitivo o agresivo. Se puede llegar al
extremo de decir esa ola es ma y no te la dejo.
Incluso pueden darse localismos. Si no eres del
lugar puede que ni te dejen entrar.

BB: Hay algn tipo de hbito que puedan crear
barreras para que el testimonio cristiano cale?
MP: Creo que no es que no hagan algo diferente,
sino que hacen lo tpico. Salen del agua y se fuman
un porro. Para ellos, el surf es como una va de
escape para todo lo que no tienen resuelto en la vida
y en la sociedad. Es como un espacio sin familia.

BB. Qu hacen para conectar con los surfistas?
MP: Lo que hacemos es
involucrarnos dentro de la
comunidad de surf
existente y ofrecerles la
oportunidad de pertenecer
a una comunidad
cristiana. Ser uno de ellos
te abre las puertas. Luego
viene presentarles a Dios
de una manera
contextualizada, con
estudios bblicos o
iniciativas parecidas. Es decir, tenemos el mismo
estilo de vida, la misma aficin, formamos parte del
mismo pas, la misma cultura, hemos vivido lo
mismo, slo que desde este frontn hemos
experimentado a Dios y transformado nuestras vidas.
Nos ponemos a su disposicin. La idea no es llegar
todos en cambote, como un clan, saliendo de la
misma furgoneta y avasallar; sino acercarnos,
preocuparnos por ellos y crear lazos de amistad.
Aunque a veces se d el caso de que no se dan las
condiciones para hablar de Cristo. S, puede pasar.

No se trata de ir directo al grano de buenas a
primeras. Hay mucho de crear relaciones y de que
puedan ver en nosotros algo que no saben explicar
pero que les llama la atencin. Y funciona! Hay
gente que termina vinindose con nosotros, como la
semana pasada que fuimos cuatro cristianos y tres
que no lo son. Saben quines somos y lo que
creemos. En lo que te pillan a solas te empiezan a
hacer preguntas.

BB: De qu manera les apoya la sede de CSI?
MP: Con materiales y pelculas. Formamos parte de
un cuerpo, pero somos independientes. As vamos a
nuestro ritmo. Desde un principio se hizo hincapi
en que seamos los propios nacionales el motor; esa
es la fuerza de un grupo. Es lo que ms me gusta,
aunque tambin es lo ms difcil. No es lo mismo un
surfista aqu que en Bilbao o que en Australia. Nadie
mejor que nosotros para conocer lo que pasa en
nuestro territorio.

BB: Se dedican exclusivamente a los
surferos o tambin los del kitesurf o windsurf?
MP: No hemos tenido oportunidad de contactarles.
Adems, estamos enfocados en una sola cosa.
Aunque si sale la opcin estamos abiertos a todo el
mundo.

BB: Cul ha sido el mayor reto que has tenido
que enfrentar como director de la organizacin?
MP: Para m ha sido una lucha
personal. Como que Dios tena
algo para m y yo no lo terminaba
de ver. Me senta incapaz, como
Moiss deca cmo voy a hacer
yo, cmo voy a hacer nada.
Luego, l te pide ms. Tiene un
propsito. Para m el surf era un
hobby; nada ms. Pero si
entregas toda tu vida, le das
hasta tus aficiones. Yo tena mi plan de vida y para
responder a ese llamado he tenido que hacer una
serie de ajustes. He tenido que dejar el trabajo para
dedicarme a mi labor como misionero a tiempo
completo. Estaba compartiendo piso y me haba
independizado. Volv a casa de mis padres. Eso s,
l ha hecho todo a mi alrededor para que sea
posible. Ha dado todo y no me ha desamparado. La
obediencia no es fcil, pero es lo mejor. No cambio
el gozo que siento por nada

BB: Recibes ingresos por dedicarte a la labor?
MP: No. Desde la junta s que me han podido pagar
algunos traslados. Pero mi situacin ahora mismo es
de cambio. Estoy en contacto con organizaciones

organization?
MP: For me it was a personal struggle. As God

labour?

sostenimiento. Tengo carga por Espaa.

BB: En un video de CSI se ve a un chico
entregando una biblia a otro. Han llegado a
tener esa experiencia aqu?
MP: Espaa es diferente. El
contexto al que haces referencia no
creo que sea la va. Han odo hablar
demasiado de Dios y lo asocian a la
iglesia que, a su vez, asocian a la
dictadura, inquisiciones. Entonces,
es mejor fomentar y hablar de
relacin y experiencias, que haya un
contacto personal y vean algo en ti,
lo vean a l trabajar en ti. La gente lo que quiere es
ver casos reales. Aprecian, por ejemplo, cosas tan
tontas como que les cedamos olas. Una vez
comparten con nosotros, notan nuestro grado de
compenetracin. Ese amor. Se dicen: a lo mejor
ahora no lo creo, pero yo quiero beber de eso. El ir a
servir cuidando a la naturaleza, tambin habla por s
mismo. Hay una ONG que se llama Surfrider, que ya
nos dio un premio por el esfuerzo realizado con la
que limpiamos las playas. Es como se describe en
Hechos de los Apstoles como aquellos que no
pertenecan a la primera iglesia, igualmente la tenan
en estima.

BB: Cules son tus expectativas con el
ministerio en un futuro inmediato?
MP: Su consolidacin y la de sus lderes, y que cada
vez se involucren ms obreros.

BB: Ha habido alguna conversin?
MP: En la zona que me corresponde, tres personas
han dado el paso de f y estn en el proceso. Ahora
lo que queremos hacer es formarlas un poco ms y
llevarlas a la iglesia.

BB: Te has topado con algn tipo de reticencia?
MP: Hay quienes creen que el surf son cuatro gatos
y que t vas a pasrtelo bien, o que quieres formar
un grupo aparte, la idea es que vean la necesidad de
ir a las playas y podamos trabajar juntos. Es salir de
las cuatro paredes. Por eso, para evitar estas
situaciones, continuamente estamos presentndonos
en diferentes congregaciones.

BB: Algn mensaje para los surfistas?
MP: Retarles a conocer a Dios realmente y por
experiencia propia. Olvdate de lo que has
escuchado hablar y disfrtalo, porque es la leche, es
la caa. Deja atrs la historia negativa que se teje a
su alrededor. Ms bien pon tu pasin a Su
disposicin y vers como todo cambia.

that experience here?

BB: Any message for surfers?
MP: To challenge you to really know God and
experience it for yourself. Forget what you heard
and enjoy it, because it rocks, is the greatest.
Leave behind negative history that is woven

CN: Cmo fue el concurso Moving Music?
OB: Pasamos a la final al ser los mas votados de 103
bandas. Gracias! Participar ha sido toda una
experiencia, tocamos sin probar sonido, cambiando
rpido de escenario. Hemos visto que los msicos
cristianos tienen una gran calidad y profesionalidad.

CN: Pueden contarnos sobre las canciones?
OB: Son sobre la vida desde las experiencias reales
que cada da vivimos, en todas esta presente Cristo,
pero hablamos de lo que sufrimos, amamos, sentimos,
aborrecemos; de los desengaos, de eso trata "De
Cara", donde lo vives con un amigo, sabiendo que te
ha traicionado y viene a darte palmaditas en la
espalda. En "Mi Vida Por Ti" hablamos de la vida de
un msico que un da es tocado por Dios y decide
entregar su vida a Cristo y el cambio que se produce.

CN: Cmo conocieron a Cristo?
Lorena: Nac en una familia cristiana, me bautic en
julio de 2011 fue una experiencia renovadora! Una
cosa es que tus padres sean creyentes, otra cosa es
que lo seas tu. Haber conocido personalmente a
Jess me llena de una forma diferente. Hace unos

CN: How was the Moving Music contest?
OB: We went to the finals for been the top rated
among 103 bands. Thank you! Participating has
been quite an experience, untested play sound,
fast changing scenario. We have seen Christian
musicians having great quality & professionalism.

CN: Can you tell us about the songs?
OB: They are about life from the real experiences
we live every day, Christ is present in all of them,
but speak of what we suffer, love, feel, hate; of
disappointments, is that "From Face", where you
live it with a friend, knowing it betrayed you and
comes to give pats on your back. In "My Life For
You" talks about the life of a musician who one
day is touched by God and decides to give his life
to Christ and the change that occurs.

CN: How all of you met Christ?
Lorena: I was born in a Christian family, I was
baptized in July 2011, was a renewal experience!
One thing is your parents been believers, and
another thing is you been. Having personally met
Jesus, fills me differently. A few days ago I told a
friend, Christ is not a religion, it is a personal
relationship, that's what makes a difference in
the lives of people.

Julio: Living in and with Christ is the
foundation that holds my life, since I met Him
over 20 years ago, I have not been able to
separate, I met Him through my wife, when we
started dating she told me she was Christian

iglesia, yo pasaba de todo eso. Juanma y yo ya ramos
amigos antes de conocer a su hermana, de hecho el
cantante de mi grupo, por aquel entonces era el
hermano mayor de Juanma, mi vida se mova dentro del
mundo musical secular, he metido el bajo en mas de
una decena de CD's para otros grupos musicales, as
que no tena la necesidad de seguir a Cristo, hasta que
una nochevieja me invitaron a una fiesta de fin de ao
que hacan en la iglesia nunca en mi vida me lo he
pasado mejor de la forma mas sana que jams
imagin!, sin alcohol, sin drogas, solo con la risa que da
el Espritu Santo, ah opt en entregar mi vida a Cristo.
Juanma: Crec en un barrio y una poca complicada,
conoc una iglesia en el barrio de Carabanchel, cuando
hacan fiestas con bocadillos y patatas fritas con ping-
pong para los nios, ellos le llamaban "La hora feliz",
aunque mi compromiso real con Dios se di aos mas
tarde en una iglesia del barrio de Aluche, ya siendo
joven, el Seor toc mi corazn y me di la opcin de
seguirle a l o seguirme a mi mismo, eso fue el 7-7-
1985. Desde entonces estoy aqu, con mis tropiezos,
pero sabiendo que sin Cristo nada tiene sentido para mi.

Luis: Crec en una iglesia evanglica, comenc tocando
en el grupo de alabanza, he seguido mis pasos en el
Seor acompaado de maravillosas personas. Adoro al
Seor con todo mi corazn y sin l nada tiene sentido.
CN: En cuales ministerios colaboran?
OB: Julio colabora con Evangelismo en Accin como
monitor de campamentos en Pinos Reales, adems de
tocar en el Coro Gspel de Madrid desde su creacin.

CN: Qu pasos darn a continuacin?
OB: Estamos grabando el lbum en el estudio,
estar listo para el verano,. Colgaremos algn video
en la red, luego presentarlo y
promocionarlo.
and was going to church, I passed out. Juanma
and I were friends before I met his sister, in fact
my bands singer, at that time was Juanmas
older brother, my life moved within the secular
musical world, I got the base in more than a
dozen CD's for other bands, so I didnt need
Christ, until a New Year's Eve I was invited to a
party at the end of the year, it was in the church;
never in my life I've had a better time in the most
healthy way I ever imagined! no alcohol, no
drugs, only with the laughter the Holy Spirit
gives, then I opted to give my life to Christ.

Juanma: I grew up in a complicated poque &
neighborhood, I knew a church in the district of
Carabanchel, when they had parties with
sandwiches and chips with Ping-Pong for kids,
they called it "The Happy Hour", although my
real commitment to God was years later in a
neighborhood church in Aluche; being young,
the Lord touched my heart and gave me the
option to follow Him or follow myself, that was
the 07/07/1985. Since then I am here with my
trips, but knowing that without Christ nothing
makes sense to me. (Read the exclusive
Interview in Julys edition of Celestial Nor mgz.)

Luis: I grew up in an evangelical church, I
started playing on the worship team, I followed
my footsteps in the Lord accompanied by
wonderful people. I love the Lord with all my
heart and without Him nothing makes sense.

CN: In which ministries you collaborate?
OB: Julio collaborates with Evangelism in
Action as camps monitor in Pinos Reales,
besides playing in the Madrid Gospel Choir
since its inception. Juanma is the Director of
the Police Coordinator Christian Spain.

CN: What will be the next steps?
OB: We are recording the album in the
studio, will be ready in the summer.
We will post some video on the net,
then present it and promote it.

Algunos, a la verdad, predican a Cristo por
envidia y rivalidad; pero otros lo hacen de
buena voluntad... Qu, pues? Que no
obstante, de todas maneras, o por pretexto o
por verdad, Cristo es anunciado; y en esto me
gozo, y me gozar siempre. Filipenses 1:15-18.

Pablo estaba preso en Roma cuando escribi la
carta a la iglesia de Filipos.

Entre las muchas cosas que haba sufrido por
causa del evangelio, se le agreg aqu una nueva
afrenta: la de soportar los ataques de personas que
buscaban desprestigiar la obra del anciano apstol.

No falta nunca esta clase de personas entre los de
la casa de Dios. Probablemente vean las prisiones
de Pablo como el castigo del Seor sobre su vida y
aprovechaban sus prdicas para mostrar lo errado
de sus caminos.

El texto no nos proporciona los detalles particulares
de sus actividades, pero s sabemos que el apstol
se dola por ellos.

A pesar de este sufrimiento, el apstol no poda
esconder su gozo en estas circunstancias,
pues aunque las motivaciones eran erradas, el
evangelio de Cristo igualmente reciba
provecho de estos ministerios adulterados.

Queriendo hacerle un dao a Pablo, la palabra de
Cristo se proclamaba y el inexorable avance del
reino continuaba.

El texto nos revela cun profunda era la
comprensin de este siervo de Cristo de las cosas
espirituales.

Revela un importante principio en cuanto al
ministerio. El Seor, en Su soberana, usa incluso
las situaciones ms adversas para avanzar en los
proyectos que tiene.

Lo que es ms notorio que esto es que l
siempre ha llamado a servirles a hombres y
mujeres que son una mezcla de espiritualidad y
carnalidad.

Some, indeed preach Christ from envy and
rivalry, but others out of goodwill... What
then? That not with standing, however,
whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is
proclaimed, and in this I rejoice, and will be
glad forever. Philippians 1:15-18.

Paul was imprisoned in Rome when he wrote the
letter to the church of Philippi.

Among the many things he had suffered because
of the gospel, was added here a new affront: to
withstand the attacks of people seeking to
discredit the work of the aged apostle.

Never lacking such people among the house of
God. Probably Paul saw prisons as punishment
of the Lord on his life and took advantage of his
sermons to show the error of his ways.

The text does not provide the specific details of
their activities, but we do know that the apostle
was hurt by them.

Despite this suffering, the apostle could not
hide his joy in these circumstances, for
although the motivations were wrong, the
gospel of Christ also received benefit from
these adulterated ministries.

Wanting to give harm to Paul, the word of Christ
is proclaimed and the inexorable advance of the
kingdom continued.

The text reveals how deep was the
understanding of this servant of Christ in the
spiritual things.

Reveals an important principle about the
ministry. The Lord, in His sovereignty, uses even
the most adverse situations to advance the
projects he has.

What is more remarkable than this is that He
has always called to serve men and women
who are a mixture of spirituality and carnality.

Jacob, uno de los patriarcas de Israel, era un
hombre propenso a la mentira y al engao.

Moiss, un hombre violento, cuya ira le llev a
asesinar a un egipcio.

Rahab, fue hombre clave en la conquista de
Jeric, pero se dedicaba a la prostitucin.

David, uno de los ms notables varones en la
historia del pueblo de Dios, cay en adulterio y,
para tapar su pecado, asesin al marido de la
mujer con la cual se haba acostado.

Pedro, el hombre llamado a ser apstol, neg
pblicamente a Cristo tres veces.

Pablo, el hombre que proclamaba la incomparable
grandeza del amor de Dios, descart a Marcos
porque le haba fallado.

Vemos, de esta manera, que an en el caso de las
personas ms consagradas, siempre existieron las
ms notables manifestaciones de carnalidad. Dios
igualmente us a estas personas y sus planes no
se descarrilaron.

Esto puede servirnos para afirmar que realmente
no importa el estado del que sirve, porque Dios
igualmente va a sacar provecho de su ministerio.

En un sentido, esto es verdad!

Cul es, entonces, el valor de una vida
consagrada, de santidad? El valor est en que
el grado de nuestra entrega permite que se
multiplique la efectividad de la obra de Dios.

Los resultados se van a dar igual, pero cuando
la obra de Dios est acompaada por obreros
santos, el efecto del ministerio se potencia en
forma extraordinaria.

La santidad del obrero s importa!

As que, si alguno se limpia de
estas cosas, ser instrumento para
honra, santificado, til al Seor, y
dispuesto para toda buena obra
(2 de Timoteo 2:21).
Jacob, one of the patriarchs of Israel, was a man
prone to lies and deceit.

Moses, a violent man, whose anger led him to
murder an Egyptian.

Rahab, was a key man in the conquest of
Jericho, but was engaged in prostitution.

David, one of the most remarkable men in the
history of God's people, fell into adultery and to
cover his sin, murdered the husband of the
woman with whom he had slept.

Pedro, the man called to be an apostle, publicly
denied Christ three times.

Paul, the man who proclaimed the incomparable
greatness of the love of God, dismissed Mark
because he had failed.

We see, thus, that even in the case of the most
devoted persons, always existed the most
remarkable manifestations of carnality. God also
used these people and his plans were not
derailed.

This can serve to affirm that the state of the one
who serves does not really matter for God, either
way He will also benefit from his ministry.

In a sense, this is true!

What then is the value of a consecrated life of
holiness? The value is in the degree of our
surrender allows to multiply the effectiveness
of the work of God.

The results are going to give the same, but
when God's work is accompanied by saint
workers, the effect of the ministry powers in
an extraordinary form.

Yes! The sanctity of the worker
does matter!

So, if anyone cleanses himself
from these, he shall be a vessel
unto honor, sanctified,
useful for the Master and
prepared for every good work
(2 Timothy 2:21).
