Two of Everything

One day, Mr. and Mrs. Chang were working in the fields when they found an old cooking pot. Mr. Chang was very pleased and he set out to clean the pot.

While he was working, Mr. Chang accidentally dropped his sponge in the pot. When he pulled it out, he found two sponges exactly the same.

Mr. Chang laughed and shouted. He dropped three apples in the pot and pulled out six. Then he dropped in five coins and pulled out ten.

Baby Chang was so curious that she dropped her doll into the pot. She was just about to pull it out again when she fell in. Mr. and Mrs. Chang shrieked and ran to the pot.

When Mr. Chang pulled out two babies, he fainted and fell into the pot. Now there would be two Mr. Changs! Mrs. Chang didnt know what to do.

She thought and thought again, and finally she jumped into the pot. In the end, there were two happy Chang families that were exactly the same.
