August 17, 2009 Dear International Student Custodians, The team at the International Bureau are looking forward

to meeting the international students and welcoming them to Calgary for their school semester or school year. This year we are pleased to offer a wonderful weekend opportunity to our students. We would like to have our students participate in a welcome camp at Pioneer Lodge in Sundre Alberta on Friday, September 11 Sunday, September 13, 2009. While this is not a mandatory event, we encourage you to strongly encourage your student to participate as it will ensure a successful international experience. The purpose of this camp is to provide students with a unique opportunity to make connections in an exciting environment overlooking the Rocky Mountains. Students will be involved in a number of different outdoor activities. These will include workshops with the goal of making their learning experience in Calgary more successful and enjoyable.
