3 Banana Bracts 4 Pieces of Litmus Paper 15 mL Baking Soda Solution 15 mL Egg White 15 mL Orange Juice 15 mL Phenolpthalein 15 mL Vinegar

II Methodology

1. All materials were gathered. 2. 3 banana bracts were blended with the blender. 3. The solutions to be tested were prepared in the test tubes. 4. pH indicators were prepared. (Banana bract, Litmus paper, Phenolpthalein) 5. 3 drops of Banana Bract extract were added to 5 mL of Baking Soda Solution, Egg White, Orange juice, and Vinegar. 6. Step 5 was repeated for 2 more test tubes of the same solutions. 7. The results/observations for each test tube were recorded. 8. 3 drops of Phenolpthalein were added to 5 mL of Baking Soda Solution, Egg White, Orange juice, and Vinegar . 9. Step 8 was repeated for 2 more test tubes of the same solutions. 10. 1 piece of Litmus paper was dipped into 5 mL of Baking Soda Solution, Egg White, Orange Juice, and Vinegar. 11. Step 10 was repeated for 2 more test tubes of the same solutions. 12. Step 7 was repeated after steps 9 and 12. 13. Results/Observations were compiled and organized in a table. 14. The set-up was cleaned after.
