Article 73 of family code Art. 73.

Either spouse may exercise any legitimate profession, occupation, business or activity without the consent of the other. The latter may object only on valid, serious, and moral grounds. In case of disagreement, the court shall decide whether or not: (1) The objection is proper; and (2) Benefit has occurred to the family prior to the objection or thereafter. If the benefit accrued prior to the objection, the resulting obligation shall be enforced against the separate property of the spouse who has not obtained consent. The foregoing provisions shall not prejudice the rights of creditors who acted in good faith. (117a)

Liability

refers to fault. The person who is at fault is liable to another because of his or her actions or failure to act. One example is in the case of a crime. Theliability of the offending party may include providing restitution for damage to property or paying medical bills in the case of physical injury. Coercion is a legal term that is used to describe a situation in which one person forces another person to do, or to refrain from doing, something against his will. Usually, this is done using psychological pressure or physical force. Other actions used to compel a person to behave in a certain way include deception and threatening to cause harm to the person, his family, or his property. In many jurisdictions, coercion is recognized as a defense to an act that would otherwise

create liability, such as a crime, tort, or breach of contract. The term is often used interchangeably with duress, and it can arise in both civil and criminal cases.
