Oscar Nominee Elliot Page Announces He Is Transgender

The actor, who was praised for performances in the 2007 film Juno and The Umbrella Academy, made the announcement on Twitter and Instagram on Tuesday.
Oscar-nominated actor Elliot Page announced on Tuesday that he is transgender. Page posted to Instagram and Twitter and received expressions of support from hundreds of thousands of people.
