    Dedication

I want to dedicate this book to my wonderful friend Joan Keeter.  She has loved me and has helped me to grow in the mind of Christ. She was a faithful student in the classes that my husband and I taught for many years, and she had an open mind and an open heart. She especially loved the sessions with the harps, from which she benefited greatly.  (I used the harps for eight years for Vibrational Sound Healing).

I owe so much to Joan and my other students for their pushing me on-and-up all the time. Thank you to all of you wherever you may be.

    Prologue

This is the fifth book that I have been inspired by God’s Spirit to write, and I feel very privileged to be in this position to have enough material to fill up these many pages.  On the other hand, for my last two books, What If . . . Volume 1 and What If . . . Volume 2, I had enough material to write many more pages, but I felt directed by the Spirit to stop.

In this book, I am including the many songs that I was given as I walked through the receiving of direct revelations, hard situations, separations of friends, joyous, overcoming moments, etc.  My prayer is that you may be helped, strengthened, inspired, and challenged by this book.

This book is full of the many things that I have written, things that I have received through other spiritual friends, or things that just came across my path as I moved on in spirit. Some are funny; some are very deep and serious; and some may be helpful.  Please enjoy!

    Introduction:  The Autoharp

I learned to play an autoharp in 1978 during our ministry in Saskatchewan, Canada. My husband Dean and I were staying with a couple who were both extremely musical.

The gentleman owned an autoharp, and he could tune it by ear, which means to tune the instrument without the help of any equipment such as a tuner. He and his wife were marvelous individuals who had come to our small congregation many times, and we always loved them so much.

In any event, during the time that we spent with them, I watched him play not only the autoharp, but his guitar, mouth organ, and other instruments. And one day, I asked him:

"Do you think that I could learn to play the autoharp?"

    He answered:

"Sure you can, Connie. It is a very easy instrument to learn."

He, then, showed me how to play it, and I caught on right away. Meanwhile, I knew that playing an instrument would help us tremendously in our services all over the world. The instrument was small enough to pack and travel with in a solid case, and music is so important at meetings.  I fell in love with the instrument at once.

He told me to take his own autoharp with us, as we were speaking in some nearby churches, and we would be returning to their home in a few days.

I was so excited to have it for that short period, and I felt that it was so nice of him to lend it to us. I began to use it; I loved it; and I desired to have my own right away.

After we left their home, we stopped at a music store and purchased an autoharp, along with a tuner. And we believed that we were set to do the work of the Lord.

Before long, we learned that not all autoharps are alike. For example, our instrument was cheaply made, and therefore it could not hold a tune:  The wooden block, where the pegs hold the strings, was made of soft wood instead of hard wood. (The pegs would move, causing the strings to go out of tune.)

My frustration level was over the top before long, and I had to just lay it down for a while.

Later, the Spirit called us to St. Louis, Missouri, where I was introduced to the Oscar Schmidt autoharps.  And wow!  What a difference in the quality. I immediately bought a 21-chord Special Edition harp.  It was so beautiful, and it held the tune so well.  I loved it, and I still have it to this today.  It is probably close to 40 years old now, and it is a wonderful piece of workmanship that has the name of its craftsman inside.

It is my wonderful friend.  I have used it to pour out my heart when I was sad; I have used it when I felt joyous; I have used it when I felt confused; I have used it when I needed direction; and I have
