Decrypt, Choose,and...Act

About this ebook
Following the various crisis experienced since the 90s, and after a period of disarray, reflections begin to be structured around a concept of a new social project, a new paradigm whose foundations are "Harmony and Knowledge".
The book “Decrypt, Choose and... Act” is part of this movement.
First, it tries to bridge science and humanist traditions by starting from the postulate that all human functioning is identical to that of the brain:
•Three types of behavior like three types of brains;
•A response of the brain under the effect of stimuli which trigger actions under the effect of the search for the satisfaction of personal needs;
•An evolution of the cortical system with two hemispheres, three brains including an upper brain and composed of cortical areas with specialized functions; seven fundamental values which serve as a guide or reference values and which define an evolutionary system inherent in the development of human consciousness;
•A cortical structure in six layers to compare with the cycle of any situation in six steps ;
•An operative network of neurons which according to the stages of information processing, receive or transmit information and a dynamic human development based on exchanges between the "I" and the "Me", me and the others and Me and the Universe;
•Twelve pairs of cranial nerves, symbolizing twelve possible attitudes to respond to a situation, to unite opposite values , to communicate, to exchange, to act.
Understanding the cortical model allows the understanding of human behavior, the decryption of situations, harmony with yourself and with others.
The book proposes an explanation of human behavior from the observation of the brain. It explains how to recognize at what step a situation is, what are the values at stake, what are the attitudes that it is possible to adopt, in order to have harmonious communication and evolution. This takes place through an awareness: of your behaviors, values and attitudes, awareness of oneself, of one's culture, of systems.
Consciousness makes it possible to decode to understand and therefore to act just, that is to say according to conscious choices. Consciousness which is inseparable from responsibility.
It is possible through the application of the grid proposed in the book to define the foundations of a new society, the society of Knowledge.

ANNEX: LEARN WHO YOU ARE?
Introduction
Awakening man’s consciousness. Is it only a dream? And perhaps you may think this book is the umpteenth essay on the topic.
Of course, many people fortunately manage to raise their level of consciousness by themselves, without any help or explanation, but they often do so in solitude, or even in pain. Following an event or a shock, they then realize the consequences that an attitude or a behavior, should be their own or the one of somebody else, had on their life or somebody life or life in general as for the last ecological disasters They learn then who they are in terms of value. The shock leads them to look for explanations and answers, trying to understand why events happen to them and how to react.
Every year, we are told that lots of people have died in the street of starvation or cold, often next door, in total indifference. When someone commits suicide, everyone is puzzled, especially their own children, when they haven’t anticipated anything. The answer can be despair, but many get aware of the fact and respond. The great majority of charities’ managers have lived family dramas.
But you may lack the tools because throughout the years, they have changed. No more schools and churches, whatever the religion, for answering to humanist questions. Nowadays social life is usually ruled by politicking which no one believes in any longer. the values dictating their decisions are often obscure and they end up in muddled, and often violent, situations that contradict good intentions.
Numerous people are thus placed in old people’s homes or in mental hospitals for their good
. Some children are quite legally taken away from their parents ‘custody to be protected
, not to mention detention centres
, a word invented to refer to prisons set up in the name of freedom.
Then, confusion, distress and anger arise and the question is: What can we turn to, here and now? Is there anything we can do? Why and how?
keys to understand and keys to act right
In this book, we offer to help those who wish to decode the situations they are confronted with, to understand better what is happening to them, to be able to analyze these situations and to draw conclusions for themselves and for the others.
We first suggest an approach and tools to know oneself, to understand one’s own personality and behavior. This process is the first essential step required to take the next ones. Know yourself and you will know the universe and the gods
: this is what we can read on the pediment of Apollo’s temple in Delphi.
Then, our ambition is to give keys to understand the others better, including organisations, institutions, political and social systems...which are the framework of our social life. Thus you will know the possibilities of evolution which are concretely offered to us, to arouse our own consciousness.
We eventually offer to give keys to act, to be able to do the right things
, i.e. in keeping with our own values and beliefs, but also considering the general rules set up since Man has been Man.
Ancient rules that had sometimes been forgotten...
These rules, without hardly any change, have been found for nearly four thousand years in all the cultures and religions. We assume that everyone of us knows them deep inside, whatever their origins, the country where they live, their culture and their level of education.
It may sound presumptuous to want to restore the basic truths
and to claim that the corresponding rules apply to everyone and everywhere, in a universal and permanent way. And yet, it is our intention, and we aim to go further, by offering those who wish to make their own the ways and means to use them in their everyday life,
Of course, these rules or principles have been updated as a lot of things happened during this period, especially in the field of scientific discoveries. So we have made a syncretism between social sciences, neurobiology, sociology, psychology and religions. To make our process tangible, we have established a model that can be used in an easy and practical way in order to understand and to act according to what we are, to the values we are made of, to the situation we are facing and to the goals we want to reach.
This model is based on the postulate that every one of us knows
deep inside what is to be understood and to be done, but this knowledge may have been lost or forgotten for various reasons, often due to each person’s personality and up-bringing, then to the obligations of social and professional life etc... Our objective is to bring the tools helping those who wish to find their personal way in the daily, to achieve their plans, to run better the conflicts in which they are involved and maybe to manage to fulfil themselves at all levels, to become the heroes of their own history.
... which become relevant again
Why would it be possible today? For two main reasons, two elements which characterize our world: on the one hand the evolution of collective awareness and on the other one, the generalization of the others ‘access to information.
The evolution of collective awareness first. Humanity goes ahead and even if things do not go as fast as we could wish, considerable progress has been made, no doubt, in the way of arousing collective awareness. We will give two examples only, but we could probably find many more: the rejection of violence as a legitimate solution and the development of the ecological approach.
The rejection of violence as a legitimate solution: as an answer to difficult situations, violence is less and less tolerated. War and suffering are no longer taken as inevitable, negotiation and diplomacy have replaced force and violence to solve problems. Wars have changed and from then on are waged in favour of freedom or democracy ... rather than against the others and their territories. The principle of otherness and recognition has been on its way, even if it took as long as four thousand years and if it has been paid dearly.
When Iraq was attacked by the USA, movements of protest took place all over the world, and were relayed by political leaders at the highest level, on the basis of this principle: war can’t be an acceptable solution.
The development of the ecological approach: for a long time, men paid particular attention to satisfying their short term needs, whatever the price to pay for future generations. This position is now questioned and even if there is still a long way to go, no official will any longer dare say that he is not interested in the state of the world that we will leave to our children.
Now, this movement is also worldwide and begins to express itself in numerous countries through political decisions, sets of laws and international agreements in particular.
The generalization of access to information: nowadays, man is more and more informed and communication has become international, allowing the syncretism mentioned above, this communication linking time and space for the first time in the history of mankind as far as we know. Indeed, via the Internet, we can
