Descripción

It's Christmastime in Toytown. Lights are twinkling, bells are jingling, and children can't wait for Santa and his sleigh to arrive. Presents are wonderful, of course, but Little Whistle and his friends need something else for Christmas. Will Santa answer their letter and make their wishes come true?
In Little Whistle's first holiday adventure, Newbery Medalist Cynthia Rylant and artist Tim Bowers once again bring the cozy world of Toytown to life--and capture the magical spirit of Christmas.

Whistle is a guinea pig who lives in a toy shop. Him and his toy friends become very interested in Santa and have questions for him. This is a very sweet Christmas story and I think most children would enjoy it.

A wonderful story about toys that are alive and ask themselves where they come from and who made them. To find that out they wrote Santa a letter if he was the one who made them. At Christmas, Santa replied and sent them a huge box of presents.A very nice story especially to share with children in the time before Christmas.

A very nice books which tells the story of toys living in Toytown. I think it is important for children that they do not only read realistic books, but also unrealistic ones to improve their ability of imagination. Furthermore, it shows how nice they treat each other in the book. Everyone tries to help and motivate the others. Maybe, we don't know - there is also life at night when we are all sleeping.
