Plant Hadeco’s new fast-growing asparagus in July and the first crop should be ready to harvest in early October. A hardy perennial, asparagus needs at least eight hours of sun, but tolerates shade for part of the day. Place the crowns a few cm deep and 20–40cm apart in well-composted soil.
