      Personal note from the author

      Introduction

      I will repeat some material that you read in here in several locations throughout the book. This is not a mistake, but it is to stress the importance of those parts in relation to the whole. Much of what I will describe in here comes from the spiritual realm which is nonlinear and may cause some distress in reading this material, but if you bear with me throughout, it will change your perspective on reality and truth.

      Truth is a work done with faith that God can and will touch the lives of its readers and allow them to alter preconceived notions about religion and faith versus science and carnal understanding of the world around you. Truth will always require us as people to change our ways of viewing the world around us and thereby change our perspective on reality. For many hundreds of years people believed that the world was flat since that was the commonly held view of their leaders at that time but with the coming of Columbus this view changed forever. Not everyone heard about Columbus’ discoveries and still to this day there are certain cultures that live primitively with their world consisting only regionally and oblivious to the world around them outside of their understanding. As mankind develops so to does his understanding of how much is yet to be learned about his world and the universe his world exists in. Sometimes though this new knowledge is so overwhelming that it causes us to retreat into the safety of a regional viewpoint. This only causes us to miss out on the greater possibilities that surround us. In this book I challenge the reader to expand their world and to be open to other possibilities, after all that is how all of histories great inventions came into being is it not?

      This book is not the end all in your search for truth but rather an incomplete map that I place in your hands to set you upon the greatest journey anyone can make in life. My hope is that you take this map and add to it the course that you will take over your lifetime and then pass that map on to someone else that they may expand upon it even further. I do not profess to be a perfect individual and throughout this book I entrust the reader with some intimate matters of my life and ask that you realize this about me, I am not now what I once was or yet what I am to become. This is the state of all living things and that which ceases to grow, and change begins to die. May you live long and change greatly yourself and the world you touch.

      Dedication

      Truth is priceless but no one will buy it, while lies are worthless and people spend millions to obtain them. The great falling away has begun which will lead to the second coming of Christ and the church has already begun to cling to convenient lies rather than holding onto inconvenient truth. My hope is this book will lead some to repent and be saved before it’s too late even so come Lord and redeem your people.

      Chapter One: Who Are You and Why Do You Exist?

      What makes you, you? Is it the fact that you have two arms and two legs, a head or any of the other outward appearances that make a person a person? In reality, a person is much more than the sum of its parts after all losing an arm or leg does not make you less you. What really makes us what we are is the total of our life experiences and how we react to those experiences. To make it as basic as possible, the brain works on an electrochemical stimulus that triggers certain areas of the brain to provide a response either physical or emotional. It is a fascinating thing to study if you're into that kind of thing I'm sure you can find volumes of information in the library or online. For this book, though, focus on the fact that we are discussing electrochemical stimulus, which means electrical energy. Much like a computer hard drive our life experiences are written on the gray matter of our brain in this method. Like a computer hard drive, our memories are reliant on the data that is put in them. When I attended computer courses in college many moons ago, I learned that phrase called GIGO [garbage in garbage out] and this pretty much holds true to everything we learn in life. It is important to us that, from time to time, we sort through the file cabinet of our memories and toss out everything that is garbage.

      Taking this information, we know to be true we can summarize that the individual person lives in the human brain and the flesh is merely an input/output device to interact with the world around the person. We must also understand our perceptions of what is real or unreal determine our interactions with the world example, if we consume large amounts of alcohol it impairs our abilities to interact with speech, walking, intimate relations and balance just to name a few things. Likewise, if the human body is out of balance, for whatever reason, this can cause both psychological and physical problems with possibilities ranging from mental illness in the psychological to cancers and ulcers and more in the physical. Balance is crucial in all matters and we will look more at this in latter chapters but it suffices to say a person is a complex set of systems that must function in unison and if this system becomes unbalanced the person can no longer function properly. This system comprises 1) Flesh 2) Spirit and 3) Influencers to remove any single system will cause a dysfunctional person likewise to focus on one area to the exclusion of the other two will disrupt the entire system rendering it nearly useless. I will go into depth on these 3 in later chapters.

      Back to our original premise, Who are you and what defines you as you? Electrochemical stimulus creates an electrical energy rather it, draws a pre-existing, energy into our existence. We know this is true because we know the laws of energy which states, energy cannot be created or destroyed, but only be changed from one form into another or transferred from one object to another." Amazingly these laws have their basis in scripture as I will show you later but for our purpose you need to understand what makes you the person you are is pure energy. You want proof of this you say? OK, this is easy in medical science they declare a person dead when all brain activity,
