En las playas con las olas mas perfectas los tablistas y las mas hermosas mujeres son inseparables por largos días y durante meses. La protagonista es una Limeña de gran belleza casada con un europeo aficionado a correr olas y cuyo matrimonio ha entrado en crisis. En esos tórridos veranos coincide siempre con otro tablista quien la asedia constantemente, ella se niega a tener una aventura sexual con el, a pesar de sentirse intensamente atraída por el.
Radicada en Europa, luego de dos divorcios vuelve a su ciudad natal, lo encuentra de nuevo y tienen una aventura marcada por una intensa pasión. Su razón puede mas que sus emociones y regresa a su vida estructurada en el viejo continente. Cuando finalmente decide seguir su corazón, regresa a Lima solo para hallar una realidad inesperada y dolorosa.

Defines herself as a mix of cultures and races.Award-winning Author/Novelist, scriptwriter, playwright; music composer, producer and singer, speaks 6 languages. Born in Peru, her father was African American, her mother Peruvian. While working at United Nations she met her husband, a Dutch diplomat. She graduated as Psychologist at the Catholic University in Santiago, Chile; pursued MA studies on international politics at Universidad de Chile. She moved to the Netherlands in 1982 and followed PhD studies on Pedagogy at Leiden University. Mother of 4 sons, she has travelled for her work in Latin America and Europe. Currently living in the Netherlands.
