A to Z Virtues for Kids: 26 Powerful Examples of Virtue in Action
()
About this ebook
Children will love learning about Nelson Mandela's benevolence during truth and reconciliation in South Africa and the grit of Audie Murphy in World War II. These are stories to which every child should be acquainted.
We need heroes. We need examples of what right looks like, where we can see a principle put into action and then observe the results. The farmers law is immutable and eternally true.
"You reap what you sow."
What are the consequences of a life lived with audacity, integrity, and thankfulness? We can look to Patton, Regulus, and Hellen Keller and find out. What is the outcome if we persevere, and live nobly, with zeal? Ed Coan, George Washington, and Amelia Earhart show us.
They say, you sow a thought; you reap an action. You sow an action; you reap a habit. You sow a habit; you reap your character. You sow your character; you reap a legacy. This book strives to help us all reap a legacy worth reading about, a legacy of virtue and hope.
Chaz E. Allen
Chaz Allen is the proud father of five marvelous children. He is also a Soldier. During two combat deployments to Afghanistan as a scout helicopter pilot, he developed a passion for writing. The letters he sent home gave him a chance to communicate with his family and share experiences. Not only that, it allowed him to make observations, offer counsel, and ponder life’s lessons. He wants to see the rising generation fulfill their potential and make the world an even better place. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Utah. Ranger, Sapper, Airborne, Air Assault, SERE, and Army Aviation Training gave him an appreciation for lifelong learning. His wife, Sara Allen, remains his inspiration and closest friend.
