    Introduction

In 2020 presidential election, citizens may elect someone with experience in detailed policies, social responsible, and grown with life experiences.

Time has come to decorate America after a clean-up negative effects failed globalization agenda which almost demise the world, and made income inequality around the world and put almost 70 percent of wealth in hands of few through corruption by (all countries) law makers and big corporations.

The 2020 United States presidential election, scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020,

will be the 59th quadrennial U.S. presidential election.

Registered voters will either elect a new president and vice president or re-elect the incumbents president Trump and his running mate

Winner needs minimum 270 electoral votes.

The United States HOP (House of Representatives) will select the president, and the United States Senate will select the vice president).

The series of presidential primary elections and caucuses are likely to be held during the first six months of 2020.

Political parties use process of primary elections and caucuses to nominating a candidate for presidential election.

    Party conventions

    Milwaukee

    Charlotte

    Austin

    Democratic Party

    Republican Party

    Libertarian Party

The 2020 Democratic National Convention is scheduled from July 13–16 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Houston, Texas, and Miami Beach, Florida, were also considered to host the convention.

The 2020 Republican National Convention is planned to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, on August 24–27.

The 2020 Libertarian National Convention will be held in Austin, Texas, over Memorial Day weekend, May 22–25.

The date and location of the 2020 Green National Convention will be decided at the 2019 annual national meeting this year in Salem, Massachusetts.[135] In a similar fashion, the 2016 convention site was announced following the party's 2015 annual national meeting. (source: Galioto, Katie (April 3, 2019). Commission names 6 cities vying to host 2020 presidential debates. Politico. Retrieved April 4, 2019.)

    General election debates

The Commission on Presidential Debates announced on April 3, 2019 the six finalist cities that could hold the three presidential debates; the cities are: Nashville, Tennessee; Hartford, Connecticut; Omaha, Nebraska; Ann Arbor, Michigan; Notre Dame, Indiana; and Salt Lake City, Utah.

2020 presidential election is not a referendum on Trump, it’s about regaining equality, economy which works for all, real fair tax reform, stop genocide of Americans – designed by Pence’s crony Seema Verma – Medicare and Medicaid changes and cuts. Education for free which guarantees growth of the country or domed. Healthcare. Immigration and national security. Consumer protection.

Trump did bring manufacturing jobs back and other jobs back to US, and grow economy - no one can take that away from him. Former president Obama challenged trump about it.

Only way to beat President Trump in 2020 election is via detailed policies, agendas. Trump won presidency because of detailed policies, and he is delivering, even though it’s has not benefiting all citizens to fullest. Scale is tipped for top 1-3 %, rest is getting crumbs. Major reform is needed to balance the economic that works for all. Some people are happy with crumbs. Main issues is income equality and health-care. ACA has failed to provide basic health-care at affordable premium.

Polls - We learned that in 2016 that polls don’t reflect true picture. Polls in 2016 election were showing that deplorable Hillary Clinton is poised to win, and she didn’t.

Pay no attention to polls. Polls reflects opinion of few hundreds or few thousand voters. misguided polls numbers usually misguide the voters. Voters should pay attention what candidate has to offer for their own (voters) benefit and country’s greater good.

While ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ congress is busy with trump tax and other non-legislation work, their job is to work for people (by the people), Trump has been busy over turning regulations, Nancy Pelosi is secretly a republican. Some regulations were over done by soon to be a billionaire Mr. Obama regime. Currently, it seems like former president Obama is running a moderate shadow government and dealing with foreign policy and interior. According to Donna Brazil Obama has Titanic ego.

Centuries ago USA was created with constitution and addendums that created a system of laws and not men or women who thinks they are above the law.

Laws and rules put procedures in place, based on certain values — impartiality, respect for institutions, the idea that a public office is a public trust, not a private bauble. Unfortunately, USA, has become a lawless country, many of the laws are old and doesn’t work anymore, such laws are immigration, health-care, education, labor laws, and equality. Congress, Administrative branch, and judicial branch has become so unfunctional that nothing get done, expect when its benefits members of congress or for influential people or companies who shower monies on members of federal ruling people. One can not even fire their attorney, attorney have to withdraw from case – that’s bad is justice system.

    Candidates

America is always great, thanks to George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, and Franklin D. Roosevelt and Lyndon B. Johnson, or join list of Deplorable presidents like Nixon, Bush and Bush.

Candidates - Want to join the list of great presidents? do great things for Americans.

What is good for American citizens, it’s good for America and the world.

Any candidates who have no clear policies are running on slogans, like Deplorable Hillary Clinton in 2016 and globalist Obama, we all remember yes we can from 2008 elections, we sure did send millions of jobs overseas, hire foreign workers to replace American citizens, which resulted tens of thousands of deaths, people lost their savings, home, marriages, they turn to drugs and alcohol, rest is painful history.

    Our Campaign

On a cold February day in Minneapolis on the mighty Mississippi River, with thousands of friends and supporters at my side I announced that I’m running for President of the United States. As I said that day in our nation’s heartland, we must heal the heart of our democracy and renew our commitment to the common good.

I’m running because I believe we can be a nation governed not by chaos — but from opportunity. The kind of opportunity my grandpa — who worked 1500 feet underground in the mines in Northern Minnesota — gave my family when he saved money in a coffee can in the basement to send my dad to college. The kind of opportunity my mom, a school teacher and a proud union member, gave me when she taught me to live with purpose. The kind of opportunity my dad, a newspaperman, gave me to always look for life’s adventures and never shy away from adversity.

I’m running because we’re tired of divisive politics. We’re fed up with the shutdowns and the showdowns, the gridlock and the grandstanding. Today, we say enough is enough.

I’m running because we need to rise to the occasion and meet the challenges of our day. For too long leaders in Washington have sat on the sidelines while others try to figure out what to do about our changing economy and its impact on our lives, what to do about the disruptive nature of new technologies, income inequality, the political and geographic divides, the changing climate, the tumult in our world. Let’s stop seeing those obstacles as obstacles on our path. Let’s see those obstacles as our path.

I’m asking you to join us on this campaign. It’s a homegrown one. I don’t have a political machine. I don’t come from money. But what I do have is this: I have grit, I have family, I have friends, and I have all of you. All of you who are willing to stand up and say that people matter.

    Let’s get to work.

    Bill de Blasio

Mayor of New York City (2014–present)

    website: billdeblasio (website)

    The de Blasios Video

A President Who Puts Working People First

    Meet Bill de Blasio

A proud husband and father, Bill met his wife Chirlane McCray at City Hall when he first began his work in public service as a junior staffer for David N. Dinkins, New York City’s first African American mayor. They raised their children Dante and Chiara in Brooklyn where Bill coached Dante’s little league team and served on the local school board.

During his two terms as mayor, Bill created universal pre-K for all 70,000 four-year-olds in New York City, expanded the paid sick leave law to cover thousands more workers, and raised the minimum wage for all City employees and contractors.

He ended the era of stop and frisk and pursued reforms to bring the NYPD and the communities they serve closer together. At the same time, he drove crime to record-low levels.

Bill also expanded the number of affordable apartments and took on the landlord lobby. Under his watch, rents were frozen for two years straight.

Bill served as Public Advocate for the City of New York from 2010 to 2013, where he stopped thousands of teacher layoffs, saved good neighborhood schools, fought for fair compensation for first responders, debuted the city’s Worst Landlords Watchlist and advocated on behalf of New York City’s most vulnerable children.

Prior to his election as Public Advocate, Bill was elected to New York’s City Council in 2002. During his eight years in the Council, Bill focused his efforts on improving public education, engaging parents, expanding affordable housing and protecting New York’s middle-class and working families. Bill won millions in new investments in early childhood education and wrote the landmark tenants’ rights legislation to protect affordable housing and end landlord discrimination for everyday New Yorkers.

Before joining City Council, de Blasio served as Regional Director of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and as campaign manager for Hillary Clinton’s historic campaign for U.S. Senate.

Bill graduated from New York University and studied at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.

    Meet Chirlane McCray

Chirlane McCray, New York City’s First Lady, is a writer/poet, activist, and longtime partner of Mayor Bill de Blasio. As First Lady, McCray oversees a wide array of City initiatives to support working families and help every New Yorker succeed.

McCray created and spearheaded the administration’s signature mental health plan, ThriveNYC, a public health roadmap to support the one in five adult New Yorkers with mental health challenges. In her role as head of ThriveNYC, McCray also leads the Cities Thrive coalition, a group of mayors from 150 cities that advocates for stronger support and funding for mental health.

McCray has championed women’s and children’s rights as First Lady through her leadership on the Children’s Cabinet, and as co-chair of the Domestic Violence Task Force with NYPD Commissioner Jimmy O’Neill. She also serves as Chair of the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, where she connects public, private, and philanthropic leaders to work on priority city matters, including youth employment, immigration, and behavioral health. In addition, she leads the Gracie Mansion Conservancy and launched the Gracie Mansion Book Club.

McCray has been honored with the 2017 Change Champion Award by the National Council for Behavioral Health and received the BWA Health Award from the Black Women’s Agenda for her leadership in NYC, and she holds an Honorary Doctor of Science from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy.

Prior to her work as First Lady, McCray worked in a variety of fields over her 30-year career, including healthcare, government, and publishing. BERNIE'S 2020 CAMPAIGN LAUNCH LETTER TO SUPPORTERS

    Brothers and sisters--

I am writing to let you know I have decided to run for president of the United States. I am asking you to join me today as part of an unprecedented and historic grassroots campaign that will begin with at least a million people from across the country. Please join our campaign for president on day one and commit to doing what it takes to win this election.

Our campaign is not only about defeating Donald Trump, the most dangerous president in modern American history. It is not only about winning the Democratic nomination and the general election.

Our campaign is about transforming our country and creating a government based on the principles of economic, social, racial and environmental justice.

Our campaign is about taking on the powerful special interests that dominate our economic and political life. I'm talking about Wall Street, the health insurance companies, the drug companies, the fossil fuel industry, the military industrial complex, the private prison industry and the large multinational corporations that exert such an enormous influence over our lives.

Our campaign is about redoubling our efforts to end racism, sexism, homophobia, religious bigotry and all forms of discrimination.

Our campaign is about creating a vibrant democracy with the highest voter turnout of any major country while we end voter suppression, Citizens United and outrageous levels of gerrymandering.

Our campaign is about creating a government and economy that work for the many, not just the few. We are the wealthiest nation in the history of the world. We should not have grotesque levels of wealth inequality in which three billionaires own more wealth than the bottom half of the country.

We should not have 30 million Americans without any health insurance, even more who are underinsured and a nation in which life expectancy is actually in decline.

We should not have an economy in which tens of millions of workers earn starvation wages and half of older workers have no savings as they face retirement.

We should not have the highest rate of childhood poverty of almost any major country on Earth and a dysfunctional childcare system which is unfair to both working parents and their children.

We should not have a regressive tax system in which large, profitable corporations like Amazon pay nothing in federal income taxes.

Make no mistake about it. The powerful special interests in this country have unbelievable power and they want to maintain the status quo. They have unlimited amounts of money to spend on campaigns and lobbying and have huge influence over the media and political parties.

The only way we will win this election and create a government and economy that work for all is with a grassroots movement – the likes of which has never been seen in American history.

They may have the money and power. We have the people. That is why we need one million Americans who will commit themselves to this campaign.

Stand with me as we fight to win the Democratic nomination and the general election. Add your name to join this campaign and say you are willing to do the hard work necessary to transform our country.

You know as well as I do that we are living in a pivotal and dangerous moment in American history. We are running against a president who is a pathological liar, a fraud, a racist, a sexist, a xenophobe and someone who is undermining American democracy as he leads us in an authoritarian direction.

I’m running for president because, now more than ever, we need leadership that brings us together – not divides us up. Women and men, black, white, Latino, Native American, Asian American, gay and straight, young and old, native born and immigrant. Now is the time for us to stand together.

I’m running for president because we need leadership that will fight for working families and the shrinking middle class, not just the 1 percent. We need a president who understands that we can create millions of good-paying jobs, rebuild our crumbling infrastructure and construct the affordable housing we desperately need.

I'm running for president because we need trade policies that reflect the interests of workers and not multi-national corporations. We need to raise the minimum wage to a living wage, provide pay equity for women and guarantee all workers paid family and medical leave.

I'm running for president because we need to understand that artificial intelligence and robotics must benefit the needs of workers, not just corporate America and those who own that technology.

I'm running for president because a great nation is judged not by how many billionaires and nuclear weapons it has, but by how it treats the most vulnerable – the elderly, the children, our veterans, the sick and the poor.

I’m running for president because we need to make policy decisions based on science, not politics. We need a president who understands that climate change is real, is an existential threat to our country and the entire planet, and that we can generate massive job creation by transforming our energy system away from fossil fuels to energy efficiency and sustainable energy.

I’m running for president because the time is long overdue for the United States to join every other major country on Earth and guarantee health care to all people as a right, not a privilege, through a Medicare-for-all program.

I’m running for president because we need to take on the outrageous level of greed of the pharmaceutical industry and lower prescription drug prices in this country.

I'm running for president because we need to have the best educated workforce in the world. It is totally counterproductive for our future that millions of Americans are carrying outrageous levels of student debt, while many others cannot afford the high cost of higher education. That is why we need to make public colleges and universities tuition free and lower student debt.

I’m running for president because we must defend a woman’s right to control her own body against massive political attacks taking place at the local, state and federal level.

I'm running for president because we need real criminal justice reform. We need to invest in jobs and education for our kids, not more jails and incarceration. We need to end the destructive war on drugs, eliminate private prisons and cash bail and bring about major police department reform.

I'm running for president because we need to end the demonization of undocumented immigrants in this country and move to comprehensive immigration reform. We need to provide immediate legal status for the young people eligible for the DACA program and develop a humane policy for those at the border who seek asylum.

I'm running for president because we must end the epidemic of gun violence in this country. We need to take on the NRA, expand background checks, end the gun show loophole and ban the sale and distribution of assault weapons.

I'm running for president because we need a foreign policy which focuses on democracy, human rights, diplomacy and world peace. The United States must lead the world in improving international cooperation in the fight against climate change, militarism, authoritarianism and global wealth inequality.

That is why we need at least a million people to join our campaign and help lead the movement that can accomplish these goals. Add your name to say we’re in this together.

Needless to say, there is a lot of frightening and bad news in this world. Now, let me give you some very good news.

Three years ago, during our 2016 campaign, when we brought forth our progressive agenda we were told that our ideas were radical and extreme. We were told that Medicare for All, a $15 an hour minimum wage, free tuition at public colleges and universities, aggressively combating climate change, demanding that the wealthy start paying their fair share of taxes, were all concepts that the American people would never accept.

Well, three years have come and gone. And, as result of millions of Americans standing up and fighting back, all of these policies and more are now supported by a majority of Americans.

Together, you and I and our 2016 campaign began the political revolution. Now, it is time to complete that revolution and implement the vision that we fought for.

So here is my question for you:

Will you stand with me as part of a million person grassroots movement which can not only win the Democratic primary, not only win the general election, but most importantly help transform this country so that, finally, we have a government that works for all of us and not just the few? Add your name to say you will.

Together we can create a nation that leads the world in the struggle for peace and for economic, racial, social and environmental justice.

And together we can defeat Donald Trump and repair the damage he has done to our country.

Brothers and sisters, if we stand together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish. I hope you will join me. Thank you very much.

    In solidarity,

    Bernie Sanders

Sanders Releases 10 Years of Tax Returns, 9 Months Before Caucuses & Primaries Begin

Voluntary disclosure follows nearly 30 years of annual financial disclosures; Vermont senator urges President Trump to follow suit

Sen. Bernie Sanders today released 10 years of tax returns including his 2018 return. The release, nine months before the first votes are cast, recognizes the changing expectations that all candidates, not just nominees, should release their taxes.

The Sanders’ tax returns, which are straightforward and uncomplicated with few additional forms or deductions, are in addition to the financial disclosures that Sanders has released every year since 1991.

These tax returns show that our family has been fortunate. I am very grateful for that, as I grew up in a family that lived paycheck to paycheck and I know the stress of economic insecurity. That is why I strive every day to ensure every American has the basic necessities of life, including a livable wage, decent housing, health care and retirement security. Sanders said. I consider paying more in taxes as my income rose to be both an obligation and an investment in our country. I will continue to fight to make our tax system more progressive so that our country has the resources to guarantee the American Dream to all people.

During his 2016 campaign, Sanders released what was then his most recent tax return (2014), and promised to release additional years if he were the nominee – as was standard practice at the time.

Bernie Sanders has been filing detailed financial disclosures for almost 30 years, and he is proud to voluntarily make these tax returns available many months before the election, said campaign manager Faiz Shakir. Senator Sanders believes it is a privilege to live in the United States and he believes it is patriotic to pay the taxes that support our country. As a strong proponent of transparency, the senator hopes President Trump and all Democratic primary candidates will disclose their tax returns.

Some key details from Sanders’ tax returns include:

In 2018, Sanders’ adjusted gross income was $561,293. He paid a 26 percent effective tax rate on that adjusted gross income. In 2016 and 2017, when Sanders also earned significant income from his books, his effective tax rate was 35 percent and 30 percent, respectively. Their itemized deductions primarily consisted of mortgage interest, property taxes and charitable deductions.

The returns reflect that the Sanders’ primary sources of income over most of those years were Senator Sanders’ Senate salary and proceeds from his writing.

In 2016, the Sanders’ income increased substantially due to advances and royalties from his best-selling book Our Revolution: A Future To Believe In, which has been translated into 5 languages and published in a number of countries. The youth version of Our Revolution, the publication of Where We Go From Here and an advance on a book currently being written by Jane Sanders, are also reflected in the tax filings.

In 2018, the Sanders donated 3.4 percent of their adjusted gross income to charity. Overall, their charitable giving does not account for additional charitable proceeds from one of Sanders’ books, The Speech, which are donated directly to charity. The Sanders do not take a tax deduction for those contributions, so they do not show up on their tax returns. The Sanders’ donations have gone primarily to senior centers, low-income organizations, educational entities, and environmental and housing advocacy groups.

    Issues:

I’m running for president so that, when we are in the White House, the movement we build together can achieve economic, racial, social and environmental justice for all.

    Health Care for All

We say to the private health insurance companies: whether you like it or not, the United States will join every other major country on earth and guarantee healthcare to all people as a right. All Americans are entitled to go to the doctor when they’re sick and not go bankrupt after staying in the hospital.

Today, more than 30 million Americans still don’t have health insurance and even more are underinsured. Even for those with insurance, costs are so high that medical bills are the number one cause of bankruptcy in the United States. Incredibly, we spend significantly more of our national GDP on this inadequate health care system—far more per person than any other major country. And despite doing so, Americans have worse health outcomes and a higher infant mortality rate than countries that spend much less on health care. Our people deserve better.

We should be spending money on doctors, nurses, mental health specialists, dentists, and other professionals who provide services to people and improve their lives. We must invest in the development of new drugs and technologies that cure disease and alleviate pain—not wasting hundreds of billions of dollars a year on profiteering, huge executive compensation packages, and outrageous administrative costs.

The giant pharmaceutical and health insurance lobbies have spent billions of dollars over the past decades to ensure that their profits come before the health of the American people. We must defeat them, together. That means:

Joining every other major country on Earth and guaranteeing health care to all people as a right, not a privilege, through a Medicare-for-all, single-payer program.

And to lower the prices of prescription drugs now, we need to:

Allow Medicare to negotiate with the big drug companies to lower prescription drug prices with the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Act.

Allow patients, pharmacists, and wholesalers to buy low-cost prescription drugs from Canada and other industrialized countries with the Affordable and Safe Prescription Drug Importation Act.

Cut prescription drug prices in half, with the Prescription Drug Price Relief Act, by pegging prices to the median drug price in five major countries: Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Japan.

    College for All

Today, we say to our young people that we want you to get the best education that you can, regardless of the income of your family. Good jobs require a good education. That is why we are going to make public colleges and universities tuition free, and substantially lower the outrageous level of student debt that currently exists.

We need to have the best-educated workforce in the world. It is counter-productive to the best interests of our country that hundreds of thousands of bright young people cannot afford to go to college, and that millions of others leave school with a mountain of debt that burdens them for decades—preventing them from buying homes and starting families.

Every young person, regardless of their family income, should have the opportunity to attend college. It is unacceptable, for example, that 28% of African American students are forced to drop out of college after one year due to costs. The federal government shouldn’t make billions of dollars in profit off of student loans while students are drowning in debt. We should invest in young Americans—not leverage their futures. That’s why we must:

Make public colleges, universities, and trade schools tuition-free.

Fully fund Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

    Substantially lower student debt.

Significantly lower interest rates on student loans.

    Fight for Working Families

We will no longer accept 46 percent of all new income going to the top 1 percent, while millions of Americans are forced to work 2 or 3 jobs just to survive and over half of our people live paycheck to paycheck. We will no longer accept a situation in which, in the wealthiest country in the history of the world, our younger generation will have a lower standard of living than their parents.

We need leaders who will fight for the interests of workers, not just the 1%.

In the richest country in the world, there is no state in which working 40 hours at the state minimum wage generates enough income to afford a one-bedroom apartment.

It is unacceptable that workers rely on employers for life-saving health care. Working for a living should mean earning a living wage, and health care should be a human right—not a bargaining chip that keeps employees in coercive, exploitative environments. And families should have the security of knowing they can take care of sick loved ones and secure an education for their children. We must:

Raise the minimum wage to a living wage of at least $15 an hour.

Enact a universal childcare and pre-kindergarten program.

Make sure women and men are paid the same wage for the same job through the Paycheck Fairness Act.

Guarantee all workers paid family and medical leave, paid sick leave and paid vacation.

Make it easier for workers to join unions through the Workplace Democracy Act.

    Make quality education a right.

    Implement a green jobs program.

    Jobs for All

When we are in the White House, we will enact a federal jobs guarantee, to ensure that everyone is guaranteed a stable job. There is more than enough work to be done in this country. Let’s do it.

In the wealthiest nation in the history of the world, everyone who can work in America should have the right to a decent-paying job. We can and should have a full-employment economy. In 1944, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt talked about the right of every American to have a job. That was true then. It is true today. A job guarantee will lower the crime rate, improve mental health, and create a stronger sense of community. It will create a much healthier and happier America. A full-employment economy is not a radical idea. That means:

As part of the Green New Deal, we need millions of workers to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure—roads, bridges, drinking water systems, wastewater plants, rail, schools, affordable housing—and build our 100% sustainable energy system. This infrastructure is critical to a thriving, green economy.

At a time when our early childhood education system is totally inadequate, we need hundreds of thousands of workers to provide quality care to the young children of our country.

As the nation ages, we will need many more workers to provide supportive services for seniors to help them age in their homes and communities, which is where they want to be.

    Expand Social Security

Today, we say to our senior citizens, that we understand that you cannot live in dignity when you are trying to survive on $13,000 or $14,000 a year in Social Security benefits. My Republican colleagues want to cut Social Security but we have some bad news for them. We’re not going to cut Social Security benefits. We’re going to expand them.

Social Security is the most successful government program in our nation’s history. At a time when about half of Americans over the age of 55 have no retirement savings and 20 percent of seniors are trying to make it on less than $13,500 a year, our job is to expand Social Security to make sure that everyone in this country can retire with the dignity they have earned and everyone with a disability can live with the security they need. We will:

Expand and extend Social Security for the next 52 years by making sure that all income over $250,000 a year is subject to the Social Security payroll tax, with the Social Security Expansion Act.

Combat Climate Change and Pass a Green New Deal

We say to Donald Trump and the fossil fuel industry that climate change is not a hoax but is an existential threat to our country and the entire planet – and we intend to transform our energy system away from fossil fuel and into energy efficiency and sustainable energy and, in the process, create millions of good paying jobs. All of us have a moral responsibility to make certain that the planet we leave to our children and grandchildren is healthy and habitable.

Climate change is the single greatest threat facing our planet. Yet the giant, multi-national fossil fuel corporations have spent hundreds of millions of dollars furthering their greed and protecting their profits at the expense of our climate and our future.

    The recent report from the
